I too thought Gowther spoke in a robotic manner, but with this recent analysis and the way he speaks in the anime im inclined to think he just talks like a narrator.

Is it just me or is this manga getting really depressing? The in-fighting, the haboured feelings of love, the non-resipricated feelings not to mention brainwashing and suggested rape. I thought this was a shonen manga, not a how-to guide for not making/keeping friends.
