I think the big problem with Asura is just how visibly random it is compared to all other forms of haki. Like even weirder than turning your arms black with haki, you grow pseudo arms, legs, and heads!

But then why Kaido didn’t say that? He talked about Enma before when Zoro cut him. This time instead of Enma, he talked about CoC.

Maybe Mihawk chose to remain silent because he knew he couldn’t train Zoro in the use of CoC (either because he doesn’t have it or because CoC can’t really be trained like normal Haki can)? At the very least Mihawk should be able to recognize CoC thanks to being Shanks’ buddy.

Yes there is a difference, but Kaido made it sound like Zoro shouldn’t have been able to cut him without possessing CoC at all (regardless of whether or not Zoro used it offensively).
