Actually, the current situation is similar to the Code Geass R2's one. Arima "kills" Kaneki and then "delete" his memories is the same thing that happened to Lelouch in the end of Season 1 and now Kaneki is trying to hide the fact that he regained everything, this reminds me of Lelouch again...
