Damn that was great wrap-up for such an awesome series. The big 3 (-OP) have something to learn here about closure. Still, there are so many questions left unanswered. Doesnt look like a new Toriko series will be airing either.

True. Maturity of the series is beyond alot of the otakus in Japan. Still it's sad to see this manga end so quickly compared to the other big mangas, like OP, Bleach etc.
Yea, seems like his scars are "throbbing", indicating white (or green as speculated) might make an appearance. Could also indicate that Toriko is close to his limit regarding his appetite demons, that they might soon revert back to his body.

Him being royalty is likely plausible now. As with his shinigami powers being genetically derived from his paternal genes, that could be the case if he's royalty also.
