Presumably you don't want to hear those answers because you have some killer responses to them that you don't want to have to whip out because they're so devastating they might cause lasting damage?
It is now the weekend (hooray) and I have time, so I'll bite.
This is not a very helpful thing to say. It would be better if you elaborated on why you hate her character. Me, I like her character because she's a courageous, determined underdog with a sympathetic story. She's reasonably strong...

Second-to-last panel makes it look to me like she hit the cape, and so far as I can gather the sound effect ('gakiin') is usually associated with a 'clang' effect in English, which would imply metal on metal. Even without that though, I don't see how...
You realise she hit his cape right? The one that's made of steel? That's why he didn't flinch. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if Becca had actually kneecapped him he would have felt it. Course that's assuming his clothes aren't also made of steel, which is a distinct possibility.
He's going to be a coward at least until Elbaf. What's annoying about it at the minute isn't the fact that he's cowardly - as mentioned that's in his character and is often funny, and we always know he'll come round when it really matters - but that he's being really unsympathetic to the dwarves...
Re: One Piece 737 Discussion /738 Prediction BREAK LAST WEEK
You sure are waving the Zoro flag pretty hard. What are you basing all this on? Most people are expecting Doflamingo and his cronies to provide a challenge for the Strawhats and I don't see why that wouldn't go for Zoro as well...
What Sameel said, basically. Rebecca has no idea that any of that happened or who those people are. She's been on the run and then in prison. She's not dumb, she's just desperate. She sees an opportunity in the mera mera and she's right to. Her chances are still non-existent unless she spends a...
Re: One Piece 737 Discussion /738 Prediction BREAK LAST WEEK
I think so. I get the feeling they're done in this arc now, and will probably come back to cause problems during the reverie. Either that or they'll play more of a part once the revolutionaries designs on Dressrosa come into play...
Re: One Piece 737 Discussion /738 Prediction BREAK THIS WEEK
Yep, I suppose it's possible he gives Shusui back, but I imagine him proving himself worthy as its successor to the people of Wano somehow once he gets there. I guess it could go either way. As for the Kitetsus, I feel like he might...
Re: The Search for Straw Hat's New Nakama... - 3rd edition
It still is vague though because we don't know Van Augur's frame of reference when he says Ace is a good fighter. Good compared to whom? By what standard is he a good fighter? That's why I don't like taking just a character's word on...
Re: The Search for Straw Hat's New Nakama... - 3rd edition
Yeah I know, but we got a flashback to when Ace actually departed, and we saw that Luffy only had the gomu gomu no pistol down. It says something about his strength, sure, but not that much. An awful lot of character's people now...
Re: One Piece 737 Discussion /738 Prediction BREAK THIS WEEK
No. Every strong pirate does not have a cool and strong sword. Most of the important pirates in One Piece have no swords at all. There is nothing to suggest Doflamingo would have one so far, and Zoro just stumbling across it would...
Re: The Search for Straw Hat's New Nakama... - 3rd edition
Ace never proved himself to be a strong fighter without his DF. What you have is a set of wins against a Luffy who could barely use his fruit and a quote from another character. Aokiji and Akainu have also never shown anything but...
Re: The Search for Straw Hat's New Nakama... - 3rd edition
Trebol for NN.
This is true, but to be honest one event does not a pattern make. There are similarities with Alabasta in this arc, but there are differences too. Enough that I don't think it puts us in a position to predict anything...
