My second favourite JoJo part! I like how they foreshadowed a certain major character with the severed hand in the opening, as this character wasn't even hinted to exist until much later on. Really, really excited about this series =D
Stand abilities get very complex in Part 6 and although I enjoyed the writing of SO, I found it the most depressing JoJo (very sad ending).
Steel Ball Run is brilliant, easily my favourite JoJo. You can actually read SBR on its own, but you'd appreciate the story more if you're familiar with...
Great episode, finally we see DIO's hax stand overcome. So jam-packed that there was no time for the ending theme!
I loved how they depicted DIO's head wound with an image of a fractured skull, just like in the manga. Time stop is less impressive this time compared to the first (as expected)...
Agreed, they really did an impressive job on the time stop, it wasn't just a 'negative image effect' radiating out like I imagined it would be (how it was depicted in manga and the old anime). The additional image distortion and the slowing clock sound effect really made it seem an ability...
About f**king time we see DIO, what I disliked most about Part 3 was the marathon of henchmen fights, most of which were forgettable (the anime adaptation made them much more entertaining though). I know the rest of the series kind of follows this format but at least the big bad shows up early...
Re: Hunter x Hunter Chapter 349 Discussion/ 350 Predictions
Although I'm disappointed to not get my weekly fix of HXH, Togashi has really given us so much food for thought in these recent chapters that a short break will give us time to speculate more on what's been revealed thus far. I...
Anyone want to take a stab at what the front cover of volume 33 will look like?
I think it's likely that we'll see Beyond's group or maybe Pariston facing Ging with Kurapika and Leorio floating around in the background (since they've been gone for so long!).
I really, really want to see...
I'd try to develop a healing type ability, similar to Bisuke's Piano Massage, something to cure my fatigue and get more hours out of the day (didn't 30 min of massage from Cookie-chan equate to like 8 hours sleep?)
This is true, what Killua says is 八つ当たり(yatsuatari) which means to "take out frustration/vent on someone". It does read as "eight hits" but you could think of it as an idiom.
The only difference to the manga I noticed in this episode was that Kurapika was shown at this point rather than at the end of the arc (also Leorio's less rude hand gesture). I think this worked well since the less avid fans would probably need reminding who Kurapika is lol. He was also pictured...
I agree with this, the power creep in the last arc was pretty outstanding and I don't want to see these two develop to astronomical levels behind the scenes in a few years when they've accomplished so much in a few months. Like some others have said, I'd like to see them out of the picture for a...
