Heh . . . well, there are a couple schools of thought on what a person should do when annoyed, and the way I purge myself of being pissed about something is to write a nice rant about it. I don't actually watch any TV or play any video games so I wouldn't have seen this segment except my...

I'm irritated. . . . I don't play the ES21 video games (I don't play video games at all, except DDR), but my friend is a big video game fan and he saw the following review of Field Saikyou no Senshi Tachi on a video game television show called X-Play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBsZOOtTO3A...

I meant to mention this sooner, but I think they already yanked it from the Toonami site. It isn't listed as one of their shows anymore, so I'm thinking they've showed all the episodes they're going to show.

Re: 25 or 50 Things About Yourself: Discussion Thread Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you say that? I like Philip Pullman and his work, but I know some people think he is a jerk. I always wonder about those tests and whether they're accurate. All the IQ tests I've taken really...

I just watched the third episode (which seems to be the "real" episode 5) on Toonami Jetstream. Here's my list of junk I noticed was different: Shin says he's not eating the provided meal because he thinks it's bad for your stomach to eat a big meal before you play. Hmm, I thought it was...

It's impossible for me to choose a favorite moment with Hiruma, but I think some of the best ones are the ones that feature him as a child; his first "clash" with Mamori over "advanced questions"; the bit when he destroyed the code book after memorizing it and then showed off; and, of course...

Re nails: I never noticed the shoes. I must've been looking at something else. I wonder what? :amuse Actually, speaking of nails in the anime, I didn't actually notice they drew him with long nails except that the other day I was harassing one of my friends into watching it with me...

Re: The Member Picture Discussion Thread I think that's part of it for me too--I'm wearing pigtails as we speak, and I do have a tendency to dress a bit young as well. But I think the other part of it, for me, is that I'm pretty short, so they automatically think "oh, a kid." But that...

Re: The Member Picture Discussion Thread Haha! It's funny the assumptions people make based on appearance. I'll be thirty in less than a month as of this writing, and I still sometimes get carded for R-rated movies. . . . (Er well actually that hasn't happened in a little while, but still...

Heh, and don't forget keeping his nails long. . . . Hmm. I think there are different kinds of flashy. He will pick the things that make him look like a badass--the dyed hair and piercings can intimidate people. (Though really he didn't need to do anything extra for intimidation. Grinning...

~KYAAA!~ Wow, he does actually put things in his mouth besides gum. I love this! :D I've read all the manga, so somehow I must've missed this while doing so. (Of course, when I was first reading it I got caught up on the majority of it over one weekend and it was while I was in the...

I must look for these scenes and look at what he eats!!!

No, getting piercings surely wasn't a big deal! I wasn't thinking it would be, considering the other stuff he had done by then. The point was I was trying to picture him going into a place and asking to get it done . . . and just couldn't picture it. :amuse And GUM! Also, I have never...

Y'know what I was wondering yesterday? I wonder if, when Hiruma decided to get his ears pierced, he went to a piercing place to do it or if he went all hardcore and did it himself with a needle and some ice. (Maybe no ice. Hahaha.) Can you picture him going into a place and signing up to...

One of my friends in Japan has clearly put herself in the running for sainthood by buying me a couple Christmas presents that were Eyeshield-themed. I will link to pictures of me showing them off on my web space (don't want to embed them here because they are gigantor). An ES21 mini-mug...
