What he did against the 4 perils is absorb vast quantities of foreign magic. Now chaos is a part of him so there isn't anything foreign to absorb, it's his power.
As for the indura attack he didn't absorb it he repelled it with his own magic, you can see the remnants of the attack bounce off.
Many people have told you they think the color comes not ftom Dubs' sword, but from the magic of the 4 perils mixing with Lancelot's and yet you continue to insist the only posible explanation is that the color signifies strength.
That's circular reasoning.
Dark Hazy moon is stronger because it uses a Dubs weapon and a Dubs weapon is stronger because it turns Hazy moon dark.
When someone challenges one statement you use the other despite it relying on the first.

There are too many unresolved threads for the series to end with chaos Lancelot. We still know next to nothing about life spirits, we don't know the significance of the knights of the grail or what's the deal with the hag that often appears in the background( assuming it's not a pandaman...
I'm starting to think the main reason people dislike Lancelot is the endless powerscalling debate that erupts at the drop of a hat, with the other reasons being more rationalizations.
