Remember Fisher Tiger? Guns usually present a real threat to characters who haven't had any serious on-screen fights. When there wouldn't have been a point to show a real fight to the death.

Re: One Piece 740 Spoiler Discussion I feel like Oda's gotta watch out his panels don't become too stuffed - especially in Zoro's fight with Pica. I love the attention to detail and backgrounds in his drawing style but it won't serve if you can't see what's going on.

Yup, he seems to be all about renowned painters in this chapter. Brooke's first panel was definitely copied (I wanted to say inspired but it just looks hilariously alike) from "The Scream" by Edward Munch. That definitely goes into the list of reasons why Oda is so awesome.

I don't even believe that's Momo on the color spread. For one, why should he be on there when Kinemon isn't. I also can't see a reason why he should be in a Kung Fu-themed spread. Just a random dragon in my opinion.
