@durama Ah, now that I think about it, youre right. And while I was reading Gantz I believed that Akira and Kurono would have some conflict but that they would eventually team up. It wasnt really clear to me how they felt about one another until Kei got those phone calls from Akira.

I agree @Damura. Akira was such an awesome character and had a lot of potential. I wanted to see Akira and Kurono do battle, it was the perfect chance to get a brother vs brother battle, but it was wasted. The vampire saga was my favorite of all sagas in Gantz.

I think the only big thing that could happen now is maybe the Gantz team gets stuck on the ship.. and then the Gants story gets turned into Star Wars! That seems to me like the only next big thing you could do with a story after fighting off an alien invasion, anything else would be a downgrade...
