What bothers me about G&G much more than the pacing is that so far there were literally no hardships for the main duo. Glüna doesn't seem to have any weaknesses, they beat up any enemy together without any problems and I guess I shouldn't even be surprised considering the tagline on Manga Plus...

Actually my first time hearing of this, very interesting article. I do think it's dumb though, by that logic female mangaka wouldn't be able to write successful Shounen manga, but they do.

Are female editors that rare? Genuine question out of curiosity. I know that quite a few Shounen mangaka are female, but it's true I haven't heard of many female Shounen editors.

I'm really enjoying Aliens Area. With the foundation laid out so far there's so much potential for really cool arcs happening in the future, once we've passed the introduction. Sadly I'm not sure if it will survive that long :/ Really a shame it's not more popular, but I'll keep my fingers...
