Personally, my prediction is that Deku will "save" Shigaraki by helping to get rid the AFO's possession. At which point, rather than opting for AFO's tactic of stealing OFA, Shigaraki will instead attempt to sway Deku over to his side - something which would parallel nicely with Deku's attempts...

I dunno... This isn't the first time Horikoshi has used a cliffhanger to play us. The main thrust of Shigaraki's character arc has always been around him learning to play things smarter rather than utilising brute force; so let's just see how this plays out.

I dunno 'bout that one chief. With the recents arcs (MVA onwards) it feels like Horikoshi has finally begun to find his feet as a storyteller. If I had to make an analogy, it would be like seeing Araki finish the Jojo series with Part 2. Not to mention with the amount of story threads flying...

My money says that Bones are putting all the season's resources into the MVA and saving it till the end - that way they get it looking good without running out of time. A good idea in theory, but (if that's the case) boy howdy are they falling over themselves.

Hmmm... After the build up we've received, this chapter could go either way. My hope is that this turn of events will lead to a traitor reveal further down the line, as it would be the perfect opportunity for Horikoshi to unveil such a potential gut-punch.

It's funny, unlike Toga (whose issues seem to spring from a warped concept of intimacy), Muscular strikes me in many ways as more of a hardcore adrenaline junkie with low-functioning psychopathy. I'd be curious to find out whether he was an ex-underground fighter like Rappa or Hood, as it seems...

I think the biggest factor would be her lack of plot exposure - unless her reveal stirs up some really serious shit in the process, it's hard to imagine a Tooru-traitor reveal being worth the years of build-up. The operative word here being willing. Outside of some vague hints, we know...
