My theory is that the defect Dr.Vegapunk was taking about in momo's devil fruit is that the dragon form of artificial devil-fruit stays as a baby dragon. And shinobu is going to debug the defect using her devil fruit. May be just may be there is a chance that it only affects his dragon form.
