My best prediction: We underestimate Izumo & Kotetsu technique (the jutsu and the crasy weapon).
The glue may have cover Hidan circle anihilating the curse and the hammer (!?) create an illusion (this weapon could be like the sound related one used by Dosu Kinuta)...
