The final arc had its flaws and there were definitely a lot of subplots and other story possibilities that could've been capitalized on, but regardless, Magi means very much to me since I got into it in...2012-2013, I want to say. It's a great series and I plan to rewatch the anime soon. I know...

Logged into my account just to reply to the above (I browse a few times a day but logging in? nope.. woops). I find Tsubasa to be amazing. The art's really nice and the story gets very serious during the second half. It's hardly riddled with romance either, much more story-driven than anything...

Re: Magi 241 Spoiler Thread To be fair Olba met Hakuryuu when he (Hakuryuu) was at his lowest point; I wouldn't have an easy time liking the guy when him cutting off someone's head, especially the mother figure to Olba (even if she was disgusting), was all I had to base him off of.

The art is so good in these OVAs. Sometimes I argue with myself on whether or not I'd want the anime to have the same art style.. though that also comes with the price of Yunan looking like that. He's cute either way but I prefer the main anime look. Ahahahahah @ the Serendine scene at the end...

^Basically this. I don't understand why some people hate on Ugo when it was made very clear that he is really only good at being the "brains" of the group.
