unless its within madaras interest, afterall madara lost his arm and im sure he wants danzous one with the sharingans. and danzou is only focused on sasuke, so its a good opportunity for madara to do a sneak attack and take the arm and catch danzoue by suprise

maybe madara casted a genjutsu on danzou to confuse him so he can cut off danzous arm and take it?
