Wendy just being terminated or the body exchange being permanent would've been good turns events. But Mashima doesn't favor (even mildly) complex situations.

The Yhwach thing... I think what it implies is that the Quincy have been rebooted and will continue through Ichigo's kid. ... And that like before, Yhwach might one day be restored.. like he had to be after the last great battle. So "One thousand years later" - Yhwach is again back.

The nonsense with the Shokugeki seems better suited to having the E10 kicked out in any normal business, for having become a hazard to the company. It pretty much proves they can't be trusted to make decisions.

Learning from the Elite 10 and the new chairman probably would be good for most of the students. It's a decent amount of variety, but obviously not unlimited variety. Most people do benefit from having high quality mentors. It's kinda like an iPhone vs. Android deal. Enforced standards from one...
