Fun Question about defeating Phantom Troup

Lets say you are a Pokemon trainer and you are tasked with defeating the phantom troup.

Which team of 6 Pokemon would you choose to defeat them?
Just Standardpokemon, no gigamax, mega evolution, missingno or legendary ones

(If you are having trouble imagining Pokemon in the HxH world, lets say its your hatsu whiches vows and limitations you have met before hand and for the time of encounter you have your desired pokemon team which must be part of the official pokedex)


I'd propaly go with:
1. Gengar
2. Toxapex
3. Scizor
4. Alakazam
5. Corviknight
6. Rotom-Wash

It should be fairly easy as long as they have the right moves and are strong enough.

1. Ditto.
2. Reuniclus.
3. Dragonite.
4. Garchomp.
5. Gengar.
6. Staraptor.

what iteration of the troupe, and are these 1v1s or are they being ambushed one by one by 6 pokes etc

Well I think you managed to find their hideout.
They will behave like normal, so I think they will go rock paper scissors or flip a coin to decide who will take you on and in which order.
But on the other side we would need to balance your hatsu. You can only have 1 active pokemon at a time, you may swap around as much as you want.

Well fight which ever iteration you'd want. (For some reason I always think of york new iteration Phantom Troup)

I dont think it would be that easy, as the troup would try to attack you, which differs from a reagular pokemon fight.
You will need to shout orders to your pokemon. (By the sheer speed it might as well be one wrong order and game over. (We could discuss the rules a bit more, now I think 1 active pokemon is to weak))
As far as I know pokemon themselves are mostly not really effective without a trainer
