#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

You're the one saying Ura is plagiarizing Witch Watch.

Because my comparisons were with Boku no Kokoro, and then the insults started, calling me dishonest. You say my arguments are weak, but at least I never offend anyone and I've never spread lies.

Y'know, you're correct that it wasn't you who compared it to Witch Watch, my bad.
I still think the plagiarism argument is deeply silly and wasn't ever elaborated on.
Lots of shonen manga have surface similarities to other series.
Doesn't make it plagiarism.

I think you just dislike the series because it isn't a cut and dry battle manga.

And just because I said there are too many comedies in the magazine, and there really are, I was unfairly labeled a comedy hater.

Jump has always had comedy manga running. There have been periods of the magazine with significantly more running than now. The lineup needs to be diverse.
You do this whenever a new comedy manga debuts, and it's just annoying and shows your biases.

Hell, the only straight comedy manga in the mag rn are Robocco, Roku, and Animal Signal.
The rest are genre blends, even Ura. And hell, both Roku and Animal Signal also seem like they plan to be genre blends as well as time goes on. Especially with the most recent chapter of Roku.

Can we at least discuss the need for the magazine to have a diverse lineup? I actually thought my last point, about the majority of the current "comedy" series being genre blends (IE action/comedy, or romance/comedy) has potential, given that's been the magazines bread and butter for most of its existence.

Stuff like Kinnikuman, Dragon Ball, Sakigake Otokojuku, Gintama, Reborn!, Beelzebub, etc. are in the same vein as Class 2-B, Witch Watch, or Kiyoshi.

There's no diversification in the magazine's current releases, unless sports manga were successful, but that hasn't happened. And the magazine already has 6 comedies, which is a large number.

Fr. Just because a series has comedy, doesn't change that most of the mag is primarily battle. By the logic of this argument; One Piece, Sakamoto Days, Under Doctor, Shinobi, Kiyoshi, & Nue are all comedy manga.

So, was it a mistake for him to publish Ichi and Jujutsu Kaisen modules in Jump?

Because both are very successful; Ichi is one of Jump's new pillars.

I wouldn't even care if Kiyoshi continued in Jump, but there are people who like it, even if it sells poorly.

Of course it wasn't a mistake. Nobody is saying that magazine needs to abandon straight battle manga. Just that it's not fair to label a series doing more than one thing as simply one of the things it's trying to do.

1. I don't think it should be necessary to say, but any comment bringing back the old topic again or simply being at each other throats will be deleted, and if even after that it keeps repeating, i will talk with Demonspeed (Global) for a harsher punishment.

I went to see the Chiikawa movie and Rapulfue Senryoku Kaigi. They were great.

I tried asking AI to write the author comments. I’ll stop commenting on health, games, deadlines, self-harm, and weird daily reports.

I caught three cicadas and a rhinoceros beetle, so it’s safe to say I had an awesome summer.

The veggie curry at a cafe in my neighborhood is delicious. The canelé are handmade and also good.

Successful? Beyond the two you mentioned, we got (at the top of my head); World Trigger, Astro Kyudan, Gintama, To Love Ru, Kinnikuman, Level E, Wing-Man, Video Girl Ai, Mazinger Z. I'm sure there's some others.

Unsuccessful we got like Zipman, Hi-Fi Cluster, Cyborg Roggy, Sensei no Bulge, Jumbor (although it got rebooted in Ultra Jump), Cyborg Jiichan G (although it got an OVA later on), and I'm sure a lot more.

There's also series that were kind of in the middle like Agravity Boys, St&rs, and DNA2.

Depending on how you feel, Dragon Ball could probably count too. Capsule machines, cyborgs, aliens, time travel, they go to space for an arc. The first half is fantastical but Z is effectively sci-fi until the Buu Saga.

Yea, I was gonna add Dragon Ball to my list too
Even the pre-Sayian arcs, and post Cell arcs still have lots of sci-fi stuff.
Also, Dr. Slump has lots of sci-fi elements.
