Theres 3 options.

-We get the 2nd batch right away
-Jump takes a little reasonable time and we get it in like a month or 2. (I'm hoping for this)
-Jump goes dumb mode and we get them next year or when they need some sales

If we don't get the next batch immediately, it will be a couple months of break at least. There needs to be room in the magazine for another series, and a batch of new series just started. I doubt Hunter x Hunter is going to leave without a replacement (heard rumors Kubo is coming back with Bleach, so maybe that?), so we won't get a sudden return in a month or two, but in another four or so would be possible.

I wish it would just continue with another 10 chapters tbh, but this stuff needs to be planned.... and I kinda doubt Jump would just be like "hey yeah, we are sure you will complete the remaining chapters in time!" considering the history of the series.

@Demonspeed maybe you could add a poll to see what people think, if the series continues or not? I'm curious

It is likely batch of 20 was planned from the start considering:

The 10 chapters we got were finished in March yet return date was given June

It returned when exactly 20 issues of Jump was left in 2026 and last few times it was when almost 10 were left. HxH always finished up the year when it returned last few batches.

2 new series just started with 2 series ending meaning nothing is replacing Hunter though they can go a few weeks with a slot empty.

Point is if we are getting 20 it wouldn't be a surprise to Jump and would be planned from the start

1 run straight for the exit
2 hug the walls while you run for the exit
3 loop below one of the two nearby blocks and run for the exit
4 escape the corner to the middle, (if you want, activate power), run for the exit
5 dont let the guys come close to you if you want to use your power, otherwise run for the exit

you dont need his power for this although i respect him a lot more for using it effectively

Togashi saying that Volume 38 containing mistakes comes as a bit of a surprise. To me, the volume with the most flagrant mistakes so far is Volume 39, though. I say "flagrant" because these mistakes actually mess with the placement of events in the timeline. There are at least three occurrences that can be seen as mistakes:

• One is a confirmed error that was corrected in the official release: Zhang Lei's coin number mismatch between the text and the illustration.
• One can potentially be interpreted as a retcon (the statement that Zhang Lei's coins appear at 1PM every day)
• The third one is also about the timeline, and depending on what information we get from future chapters, can either be considered a mild stretch/inconsistency or an actual mistake

I have mentioned these points in the past and I'd love to discuss them in more detail, because I think the issue goes beyond simply pointing out continuity errors.

The main issue for me is that the mistakes are gradually becoming more plot and timeline related. When you're reading something as deliberately complicated as the Succession War, a big part of the fun is trying to piece together all the information Togashi has given us and use it to solve the mysteries within the plot. But when some of that information turns out to be the result of an error, it creates a certain distrust: you start wondering whether an apparent inconsistency is actually meaningful, or whether Togashi simply forgot something.

I'm not saying this ruins the story or anything like that, mistakes can happen and it is what it is, and Togashi is already doing more than his best. But what about the editor or assistants? surely they could at least help him look for errors before submitting the pages? this is what I don't understand.

These errors just go to show that Togashi is a normal human being, just like anyone else.
I’m one of those people who doesn't notice most of the mistakes ... What intrigues me is the fact that he doesn't have a trusted assistant to check for these kinds of errors for him. You should definitely point them out sharing them here and on ex-twitter, would be great.

I believe Halk's power would make their souls coexist in Tserri's body, and the time limit refers to him losing control to the original soul once the body wakes from sleep.

However, this coexistence of the two was bound to lead to conflict at some point. Even though it is a work of fiction, that scenario is almost impossible, and I’m not sure it’s the best approach.

Well, I didn't remember anymore that he had said he would let Jump announce how the continuation after chapter 420 would work.

He says that whenever he finishes a batch of 10. It's more similar to "please wait for announcement of release".People are misreading and overthinking it as always

I think it's mostly because he said that before this batch was released, and he posted it on his personal account. He usually mentions that in the final comment, right?

Oh man, I'm so nervous about the return of the hiatus. All of that speculation about continuing to the next batch is killing me. I voted no, but would be overjoyed to be proven wrong.
