#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

Oniyomeden isn't similar at all besides the girl also being an oni. It's bizarre how desperate for comparisons some of you are getting when it's very obviously taking after The Dangers Within My Heart.

Anyways, I hope the fanart is a sign of genuine popularity. Kiruko-san from 2012 I remember got tons of fanart of the main girl but still got cancelled on ch 24, because it seemed like people only liked her design and didn't care for the series otherwise.

No, Ura is more similar to The Dangers Within My Heart; even the design of the main characters is identical.

It is a sign on how successful is The Dangers in My Heart. It is inspiring all sorts of manga out there.

Both Blue Lock and Gachiakuta have had chapters with 10 or less pages published within the last year. Blue Lock also had unfinished art at least once that I remember. I don't know about Sunday beyond their many editorial controversies.

I really wonder what's actually going on behind the scenes with Ura Files anyway, it had less than a year from one shot to serialisation which is fairly rare. And the oneshot was a solo project while this is a duo on top of it all, which is really strange. Like I totally get why, this artist is much better suited to a horny romcom, but we know Numa Shun is perfectly fine drawing his own series so if the oneshot was popular enough to turn into a series quickly, surely he would just draw it himself.

Back when the oneshot was published last year I had figured it was just something they put out so they could give Numa Shun colour pages to promote Chojo's anime announcement (since it was cancelled months beforehand), and now we're getting this serialised coincidentally just a few weeks before the Chojo anime starts.

Was Ura's oneshot actually received well? Or is this just them quickly putting out something by Numa Shun to tie in with the Chojo adaptation? If it ends up performing well, it doesn't really matter either way, but Chojo's cancellation really created a bit of a mess for Jump.

Back when Black Clover was just starting out, people generally complained that the manga was cliché. But with Ura, it's all praise, with the female character being cute, even with the similarities to other manga in the genre, especially The Dangers in My Heart.

Rest assured, friends. Ura is not being considered plagiarism or anything related to it with magazine readers in Japan. So it may as well become a hit. This "Ura is plagiarism" or "Ura is copying other mangas" discourse is a non-issue.

Maybe someone at Shueisha was smart enough to say axing a manga with an anime in production makes no sense and they instantly started working on a new series that could benefit from the promotion.

In this type of story, the path the author will follow is very predictable: there will be festival arcs, encounters, a beach chapter, a second romantic interest for the protagonist, and in the end, graduation and the two get together. Almost like a mandatory script.

Maybe someone at Shueisha was smart enough to say axing a manga with an anime in production makes no sense and they instantly started working on a new series that could benefit from the promotion.

But the manga in question lost readers and had low popularity.

An anime doesn't always save a manga's popularity; you should have learned that from Undead Unluck.

In this type of story, the path the author will follow is very predictable: there will be festival arcs, encounters, a beach chapter, a second romantic interest for the protagonist, and in the end, graduation and the two get together. Almost like a mandatory script.

Like every romcom on every single magazine out there. They are common tropes. And they are good if handled well.

ToC day!!! I want to see predictions guys

My predictions:

For Issue #42-43:

-First of all, despite being a double issue, since it's a extra one that we don't usually have i'm betting on actually not being a group cover, so with that in mind, i will bet on either Kagurabachi having the cover & lead cp for the 3rd anniversary or Nue's Exorcist getting the cover & lead cp for the popularity poll results and anime announcement!

But i think it's more likely going to be Kgb anniversary.

-Color pages will be: Akane-banashi for vol release, Class 2B for vol release and Grey Keys for ch2

-Top 5 will be: One Piece, Ichi the Witch, Sakamoto Days, Someone Hertz and Roku's House of Oddities

-Bottom 5 will be: Class 2B Hero Destroyerz, Under Doctor, Hunter x Hunter, Cannon Master and Hal Formula

-Hunter x Hunter will not go back to hiatus and we will continue with 20 series! Besides Togashi already having 7 extra chapters finished i think if HxH was going back to hiatus we would have 3 new series instead of 2 or maybe Drawn to the Fire wouldn't have ended

And there's the fact that The Dangers Within My Heart is ending, and they chose this moment to debut a manga featuring a large, voluptuous, cheerful oni gyaru girl and a small, serious boy interacting together at school.

I know I'm being repetitive, but it's impossible not to see similarities between these series and say that it's unfounded.

And as a bonus, they found an artist who knows how to draw beautiful female characters, and you can even fit some ecchi into the story, because Numa's art is more focused on comedy than romance.
