It doesn't seem like Cath can open Portals to Purgatory , he had that Chaos Knight who opened these portals for him , which Diodora killed and took his ability in the process.

This, most likely. Cath was even surprised when Diodra showed it and was like "oh well, not that it matters to me now". Purgatory is likely off limits to Lance and by god, him, Cath and LotL should be thankful for that.

Him relies on Rother and Turret to hunt Purgatory's creatures doesn't mean he cannot go there himself.

Perhaps he simply didn't have the time to spare to go to Purgatory to hunt some Purgatory creatures when hé have much important things, so he relied on the knights who could do that.

Cath can do a lot of things. Turret and Rothes had this specific task. It wasn't his job to hunt Familiars.

Of course the DR!! The favoritism never stops. The second journey to DR without even acknowledging the existence of GR! Ef it! If the final fight happens ther, there might be no chance the story can ever focus on GR because of the separation thing! A nasty probability!

At least I hope the presence of Chaos in DR makes behemoth go rampant one more time. Its connection to LS and Percy can come in handy for the sake of story telling.

Now that Cathmelot is no more, everyone can participate in battle, SDS included. How many of them will die? It seems all of them. Time for Merlin's Gaiden finally?

I don't know if either Mel or Zel will activate Indura transformation. Just about your comparison with Ellie, the destructive nature of Indura form applies on demons on their original body. That form should dangerous to Mel and Zel's sense of self. Unless they have an unknown privilege as the sons of DK.

Alternatively, maybe Lancelot will actually destroy all the realms, but entirely new ones will form later—and it is these new realms that will remain permanently separated from the human world.

You might actually have a point here. New world that are forever separated is a good alternative, but it's way darker than a simple separation.

Chaos created everything incluiding Purgatory makes.no sense he can't go there.

Only for him to die as a monster? No thank you. Besides, even if he survived, there is no way back from Idura. Eli is in a coma. Think Gelda would be okay with sny of that? Let's be real, Indura Zel won't happen. He dies with his wife or they both escape, either way the realm is fucked.

Escaping from the realm he is supposed to protect, only to save his own life and the life of his wife isn't a good development for Zel. He should be ready to die protecting the realm and the citizen who respect him as their king.

I wasn’t talking about the indura transformation, as far as we know indura doesn’t grant you god level power. @Covers mentioned the possibility of Zeldris pulling out a new form that would be similar to what Elizabeth did when she reached the level of the SD and was using the power of the gods but said he could die from that. What I was saying is that Elizabeth only suffered from her coma because she used that power in a human body but Zeldris doesn’t have a human body so if he were to be able to use something similar he shouldn’t have any major drawbacks like she did

He can asspull a new transformation if he wants Zeldris to go out in a blaze of glory and I can tell you right now indura isn’t gonna help him do that

It could still be a parallel to Tristan trusting Lancelot to stop him because in the grudge of Edinburgh movie Tristan didn’t know at that time if Lancelot was strong enough to stop his demon form. He just let go and hoped for the best.

If Lancelot ends up fighting the behemoth maybe that’ll give us some clue on how Percival can fight against him since we were given a hint in Camelot how to avoid his shining road

I think you’re mostly trying to sidestep what he’s saying here, when his point is actually valid.

Saying that Lancelot’s decision was stupid because destroying the world would eventually mean destroying Guinevere and himself as well is a pretty weak argument, especially if you actually read the scenes in question.

His plan was indeed to save Guinevere’s life in the immediate situation, and then attempt to destroy the world while relying on his friends to stop him.

The fact that, as a reader, you think stopping him would probably have been impossible given his power doesn’t change what his actual intention was.
Lancelot genuinely intended to rely on his friends to stop him. He even went as far as telling them to kill him if necessary.

So yes, his decision was emotional and extremely risky, but it wasn’t simply, “I’m going to destroy the world and screw everyone else.” He consciously planned for his friends to stop him after he had saved Guinevere.

You know not everything is about powerscaling, this time its about trust.

The whole series Lancelot has been helping others grow stronger( or pointing out how they should be stronger in the case of the 3koa vs the chaos perils), so to me it seems that Lancelot often sees in others strength that they themselves don't.

Gotta say, I'd be fairly surprised if the reason all other races disappear is that lancelot drives them to extinction. Though it's a hard sell for me that lancelot is able to tolerate existing after doing something to horrible.
