Wait, that's not how that spoiler reads at all. While it may be true Mihawk doesn't have it, him alerting Zoro to something that doesn't change shouldn't read to you, "but I don't have that it."

I gathered from the spoilers that from all the teachings and info Zoro has received on haki and it's many manifestations (Coc, too), Mihawk's time with Zoro still reigns supreme.

If anything, Mihawk's intimate knowledge of how to use Coc, according the spoilers, seems to me he could very well possess it. It's far too exact/precise in how HK works.

You gotta read between the lines and understand subtle subtext.

The manga is 25 years old and is for teenagers. Which mean at least 40.

Younger people here just onboarded one piece later.

Yeah I see both sides. When I started OP was before I had kids. Heck I've had this account (for spoilers) for almost 20 years! Now I have a 10 year old who enjoys it probably more than I do (and spends time watching theories online). I just want to finish it. I gotta say OP has exposed them to a lot of things western shows and cartoons wouldn't have but that was the case for me 'back in the day' too.

My kid's favourite is Chopper though (because of how cute he is) so we still differ of opinion a bit.

I'd prefer a manga that grew with it's audience. I mean while only 2 years and a few months have passed in the manga itself has gotten way less serious over time and the gaps in writing are only growing. Now I can watch / finish together as they've caught up in the anime (esp since there's no wano on netflix). Like I was saying with Naruto in another post - that's a character that matured a lot, while still having dumb moments, as an example.

There's no math to do
One Piece is published in Shonen Jump, that is a teen-oriented magazine, as its very name implied.

There's no younger people that onboarded later OP, but only older people that stayed (as you and me). The target is always the same: male teens.

Been reading this since 2006. 20 years later, I still get excited about a new chapter. But your point stands.

Neat spoilers. Looks like sommer's arm isn't regrowing as quickly anymore. I wonder if zoro figuring conqueror haki out will mean his max haki output will last longer now... something something efficiency.

It doesn't have anything to do with the age, just the repetitive story. Oda made One Piece much too long.

Sommers isn't weak guys, Zoro is just too strong. You cant expect Zoro to be struggling against him if he's gonna be the right hand of the pirate king. Don't forget Luffy, Zoro and Sanji are supposed to be in the same power bracket. If one gets a power up and move up, the other 2 as well.

This chapter is really cute though. Sommers is getting terrified over and over again but just not dying. Enjoyed that part and the whole chapter
