I still want to know..if the steel heart is something all the Gk's have and the source of infinite regen.... or just a Sommer's thing..

also i wonder how this level of Coc is goin to Work out in Sanji's... ¿ is he goin to kick Killingham like Chun- Li.. and rip him to pieces ?

I have to add that.. Sommer's to be a GK he freaking SUcKS at swordmanship.. He cant block or dodge Shit!!!.. thanks god he have that regen on it ..

It was mentioned here..but seems trusting too much in regen.. made them SUper Lame.. in other areas like swordmanship.. they are lazy or dont care to train.. he canT win against zoro not even using GRAM...

Once the regen is bypassed he is done for...

Except maybe 4 Shamrocks, he must be a beast as Shanks handling the sword.

To be honest,,, i admit the same,, but i tought even they being weak, the Swords would make a WHOLE WORLD of difference,, even more than the BUFF,,,,himself. So far Sommer's sword ,, considering is a freaking legendary 900 years sword,, revived by Imu's itself,,doesnt seem to be a HUGE issue for Zoro,, i tought it was goin to cause lot more trouble,, more than Summer's itself and his D.F Buff... but doesn't seems to be the case.
And Sanji is still just casually kicking the shit out of Killingham.

Sommers and Killingham are supposed to be like the top tier fighters of the WG, they just got Omen strength boosts, and they got some magic weapons, but Zoro and Sanji still haven’t even broken a sweat.

It’s honestly getting a bit embarrassing. And like not even just embarrassing for the WG, but embarrassing for everyone the WG has been bossing around for 800 years.

No wonder Rocks could just waltz into the Holy Land and talk shit and the WG is afraid to confront Yonkos unless they pull in like all of their top tier forces and just spend their time hoping and praying Yonkos distract each other instead of focusing on the WG, and have been spending time trying to make cyborg armies and get their hands on ancient weapons.

The WG is super weak.

Gunko handle her Himself pretty well ( when it was really her) Against Brook, Jimbei.. and even Gaban's ( disregarding she resorted to use Colon as hostage) and just using her DF powers..not even being rided by imu or a sword..

If Shamrocks is the genetical Twin of Shanks.. even if he lived in Mariejois and didnt hit the seas.. ( and cause he is the captain ) It will be the most insane and serious from all of them...

I simply cant imagine he making the stupid scary faces Sommer's is doing.. he is way above that... he is literally and Evil shanks.. ( and he have two arms.. to make it worse)

I dont think Aaaaaalllll of them are super weak...
But Sommer's and Killingham.. they definily are... they put too much faith on their regen, lile for properly train other skills.... and now they are goin to pay the price.

If sanji kicks Killingham with CoC then odds are the blunt damage and burns he takes linger longer. Regeneration doesn't have to apply only to cuts.

Imu's top servants are probably the gorosei and shamrock. It makes no sense to frame the organization as a whole weak. Considering that Saul, a former vice admiral, was helpless against sommer's thorns and that gunko low diffed jinbe the situation here is simply that zoro and sanji are monsters. Sommers and killingham are probably stronger than a good chunk of the yonko executives we have seen before (just not the actual top ones).

I was thinking on Killingham being full of sooo many holes ( Like when Luffy used gatling on Logias ).. that he could ended up like a swiss chess ( one that doesnt regenerate ) and he unable to move or fuction properly...

Literally a Kick gatling

I cant believe it, but Sommers is doing the Lord's work by being exposition man.
Telling us exactly when Zoro's used the coating, whether it be in the past or now, and pointing out exactly when he's doing it now, matching the Haki lightning.
Thank gosh that at least one of these parties knew when Zoro was using it. Important to note that in this translation, Sommer's identifies past moments as coating.
And then Zoro realizing he didn't do anything new.
Is the lesson about to be that he was overthinking it? With Mihawk's lesson, it would probably be to simply exude strength at all times if you want to use the haki.

The rhetoric for Zoro is important because it will tell us what the rhetoric for Sanji won't be. So, Zoro's rhetoric is about him just using it when he did high effort attacks. So he can associate effort to Conq.

Flat out saying Maki was Haki's equal and opposite force was interesting, though. Still feels like it's a power locked to Imu and his gifts.
If Maki is not locked to Imu... and we're calling it demonic force... it sure would be a funny timeline if Roronora "the Asura" Zoro, and Vinsmoke "Diablo" Sanji get linked to Maki.
That top part is a joke. It's just funny because of all the devil/demon/yokai theming the pair have.
Thinking about it though, I think Luffy's only ever had positive themeing, whether it be Thor, or Wisdom Kings. I cant recall a demonic gum gum attack...

Isn't that what has happened before? Except with cuts. And this won't be what actually kills him either. My guess is that the roger pirates killed a couple god knights but didn't actually know what specifically killed them. Roger/Rayleight/Scopper fought normally, delayed their regeneration and hit their heart, a commonly targeted vital spot with cladding and killed them.

Yup seems to be a natural opposite force..like.. ON is to NEN.. and Imu's have a lot of it.. it was the reason he manage to "Wake Up" the 19 Weapons probably... im not sure they can be used properly without it... or probably originally you need it something else to make a propern
use of them, and Maki resulted enough as a complement or substitute..

The good thing of Slicing a Gk to pieces in the sea.. onboard a Ship..is that you can pick the pieces quiclkly and trow them to the sea.. if they are D.F users, have fun with that... thats a nice way to dispose of such a garbage.. better than hang them on a tree like dirty clothes.

But is funny.. that Killingham wasnt able.to regenerate.. isnt it ? they keep him in pieces.. and it wasnt capable of regenerate new parts.. he need them for attach those to himself again..

I consider that pretty weird.. compared to Sommer's

Also i remember Gerd also says when holding sommer that it was like a magnet..if a chopped part is too close it attract like a magnet...

if is too far.. it generate a new one..

why they didnt do it before and now they can?.. it was the buff?

Yeah i think:

Before the buff:
Parts need to be re attached being close

After the buff:
New parts regenerate...

Or maybe im totally wrong.. cause Prime Garling auto regenerated...

I think there is big difference between regenerate a cut.. and just Recreate non stop whole limbs... i think you can do the latest once you get the buff.... if not you ended up as Sommer's and Killingham first defeat.. begging for re-attachment.

An interesting bit about sommers here is that he calls omen a counterforce to conqueror haki. Though it would appear the amount sommers has now isn't sufficient to match zoro's will. In some ways Imu's framing of omen does sound like the opposite of conqueror haki though it going as far as being a counterforce sounds...wrong? We need more context here. Conqueror haki vs the dominated' power... We can probably expect more strange interactions between imu's powers and conqueror haki.

Looking at the chapter... did zoro figure it out? I am not as sure as sommers is. This doesn't look different from when zoro has used his full power before. It kinda looks like mihawk was talking about the absolute strongest and zoro decided to try out his full power. In the past zoro has used cladding when pulling out all the stops...

Well I wouldn't be surprised if Omen is basically the superior form of CoC or that CoC is the imperfect imitation of it. Omen, imo, corrupts the voice of all things of everything according to the manipulators will.

I think the whole idea that CoC can only be inherited rather than learned will play a huge role in the future in terms of lore. Knowing that apparently more "Gods" existed than just Nika, who's to say that the users of CoC are not descendants of those gods?

He only teach the concept to Zoro.
I would be shocked if he doesn't have it.

That make me impress more, its mean he just pure hardwork, it show u not need CoC to be elite, we do have lot right hand yonko dont have CoC, n seem most admirals also dont have it,,

Even if he had..is not like it can be teached to someone.. other than by those vague mentions and lore of it..

1) You need to born with it

2) You need to learn how to use it By yourself..

Like the seven sense...

Sommers and Killigan are the Knights of God training wheels for the straw hats, they are probably the weakest of the lot, totally dependent of their devil fruits, I'm sure even Gunko is stronger than them, and Shanks twin must be in another league all together.

That was a joke.
Usopp used to be my favourite character until Oda turned him into a gardener then totally gave up on him.
I don't even like God Usopp.
Paradise Usopp best Usopp. He peaked way too soon.
I'm rooting for Blackbeard and Ao Kiji now.
I can ALWAYS root for Blackbeard. I have a sneaky suspicion Blackbeard is doing work at the palace while IMU is gone. Waiting for IMU to get back? Catch him with his pants down/get revenge for his pops?

On another point, while not said explicitly (which is my preference of confirmation), did Perona just give up an obvious clue by jokingly saying Mihawk's beard meant he had HK? Clearly beard doesn't equal HK, but she clearly said it because he MAY have flexed it at some point. It would be cool to see a flashback next chapter of Mihawk deflecting Zoro while training because he had to parry Zoro's unconscious HK attack with his own. One can dream

Gunko was Amazing against Gaban's and she didnt have a buff.. a special weapon..or possesed by Imu's ... and that was before she took Colon hostage..

she also Manhandled Brook and Jimbei at the same time... her D.F powers alone are amazing.

almost 80 years of practice in the body of a 20yo.. girl..

Sommer's and Killingham are such a joke.

And then there s the Bipolar Eyes Issue..

Imu's keep her young from at least 70 years ago!!!.. probably in hopes she wake up those powers..

Can you imagine how cool those powers must be... to grant her eternal youth.. and wait for so long ,?

Been waiting for the scene to become true. I can't see a better opportunity than now.
If Sanji defeats Killingham (Zaza the rain god) whom the CDs fear... his reputation would go through the roof for defeating a mythological legend.
That is assuming he does defeat Killingham (which he will imo)... but someone would have to tell the CDs did happen? Or Killingham's death would suggest Zaza was defeated.

Weirdly enough, i think this chapter is sort of trying to contextualize Sanji's own inability to use conqueror haki up to this point. While the usage and applications is the same, actually activating and applying conqueror haki appears to be an intrinsically personal deal. As in, from a mechanical point of view mindset and method required for luffy to imbue his attacks with conqueror haki is fundamentally different from everyone else. Mental state seems of special importance. Oda is really building up to whatever mental nonsense is holding sanji back.
I think Oda is going to make Sanji learn that Zoro managed to use Haoushoku to beat his God’s Knight opponent to make it awaken it as part of their rivalry. I still didn’t understand how it worked here for Zoro against Sommers. The chapter translation is very unclear.
