WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP THREAD RULES​

#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

Strong debut for a comedy series by an unknown name, there's definitely a bright future for Roku.

It's not a bad start, though considering it's by Sorachi it's not a fantastic one. Regardless, rankings are awful, so 2-B's future is still very uncertain.

As i predicted, it would be Kill Blue & Astro Royale level but slightly less:

Which would be perfectly fine if it weren't for the terrible rankings.

The thing is that this will not hit anywhere close to a million copies per volume in physical.

If it were some lesser studio, I would think that. But it is KyoAni. When they put Ruri dancing the Haruhi dance, it will move the universe itself.

1M physical for a volume is a dream that won't happen for anything. Just give up on that.

Using that as a bar for good sales is basically the same as hoping your average circus to push attendance numbers similar to what they did in their golden age at the start of the 20th century. Some things eventually peak in sales numbers and will never recover and that's fine, no need to get stuck in the past.

That last part feels very Star Wars prequels with that microchlorism, idea that makes up Jedi. Man don’t do that. That was the thing that took away fans dream to being Jedi.

See the cool part is that in the reply, he acknowledges that nothing has even shot, so he's talking out his ass on that part. Like all of that stuff is probably just concept art and manga panels they want to recreate.

Also the "We need to make Sakura strong from the start s" is such a red flag, because is the typical Hollywood bullshit about making "perfect" female characters for the sake of it and will probably just make Sakura even less likeable.
