Why is Ominous Nebula considered Zeldris' innate magic, when it's just very high speed threads of darkness, making it more of a technique?
I view his innate ability more as the capacity to spin darkness at high velocity, rather than the darkness itself since all demons can use darkness but not at such high velocity. Why is Ominous Nebula considered Zeldris' innate magic, when it's just very high speed threads of darkness, making it more of a technique?

we have no proof that this zeldris is the same as before. he was strong enough to fight SD at 50% op her power. on top of that the whole lance vs escanor thing imo dont matter. that escanor was a "door" or totem blocker it wasnt about power it was about breaking the seal which needed the blood of merlin literally. So without gawain they wouldnt be able to pass escanor no matter what they didLet's see if Lancelot can no-diff Zeldris tomorrow or if he will struggle.
After all, Escanor—in his 'The One' state, which is physically equal to the Demon King—managed to no-diff Zeldris.
He nullified his Ominous Nebula with a single chop and nearly killed him with just one finger.
Therefore, if Lancelot can't do sometthing similar , it proves he isn't at or beyond Demon King level; he would still be around Ban's level.
Keep in mind that Escanor accomplished this while Zeldris possessed the power of the Demon King, which granted him immunity to magical attacks.
If Lancelot fails to no-diff this version of Zeldris, or even struggles against him, it would be truly embarrassing.

The Supreme Deity didn't have a real physical body; she only had an astral body because she, along with her entire clan, sacrificed their physical forms to seal away the Demon King and The Demon Clan.we have no proof that this zeldris is the same as before. he was strong enough to fight SD at 50% op her power. on top of that the whole lance vs escanor thing imo dont matter. that escanor was a "door" or totem blocker it wasnt about power it was about breaking the seal which needed the blood of merlin literally. I've talked about the reasons , the evidence and the whole theory many times.
So that's the only answer you could provide. I'm disappointed ngl. You don't have any actual reason for your theory, just a misunderstanding of the art. No reason to take your scenario seriously.
I remember the Deen Studio team were also unable to understand the visual details and make a huge mess in Escanor vs Meliodas episode. They were unable to notice the interface between light and darkness!!
You are getting too hung up on raw power regarding this matchup, Lancelot; of course, he is far more powerful than the Demon King, but what truly matters here are experience and battle IQ. Even though Cath is stronger than the entire Seven Deadly Sins team, he is foolish enough to forget that Ban is human. Similarly, Lancelot possesses the power of Chaos, yet he still doesn't know what tricks are at his disposal. Despite Lancelot being much stronger, I believe the Demon King would defeat him in a fight—after all, he possesses the passive abilities of the Ten Commandments as well as "The Ruler" ability.Let's see if Lancelot can no-diff Zeldris tomorrow or if he will struggle.

When it's stated that Character A is stronger than Character B, that statement normally includes everything—like battle IQ, experience, and overall fighting abilities. You are getting too hung up on raw power regarding this matchup, Lancelot; of course, he is far more powerful than the Demon King, but what truly matters here are experience and battle IQ. Actually, its not meaningless. Even the Lady of the Lake who absorbed Nemesis supports it furthermore, when the fallen knight took a sip from the lake, he grew stronger, including in terms of his physical attributes. Lancelot simply doesnt know how to wield this power on a grand scale something that comes down to experience though we know (or lets say, expect) his ST will help him with that. When it's stated that Character A is stronger than Character B, that statement normally includes everything—like battle IQ, experience, and overall fighting abilities.
So, even if Character B has more experience and a higher battle IQ, Character A still be considered stronger
Of course, I don't believe Chaos Lancelot is as strong as the Demon King.
I mean, sure, Lancelot has more magic because it's literally infinite, but he can't fully make use of it.
King and Zeldris kept throwing statements around that he's stronger than the Demon King, which feels like a bit too much glaze.
King didn't even see him, and Zeldris only felt his magic—which we already know is infinite.
These statements just seem like senseless glaze with no feats to back them up.
That was part of the question my friend. You have talked about it many times but you fail to explain why the other explanation is ignored by you to this extent.I've talked about the reasons , the evidence and the whole theory many times.
But your question was : "why this much insistence? Like talking about it in many discussion threads on various platforms?"
My reason is just to push the agenda , that's all![]()
Here in this post, you even asked why the color in recent instances of Chaos Lance aura isn't as dark as that one, but again completely ignored the fact that what we saw at that moment could be completely different. Like asking why that one is darker but fail to admit the shade might be a pure mix of Perils' attacks with no active element from Lancelot's magic within it.It's clearly not on par with Nanashi's sword; otherwise, Hazy Moon would have shifted to a darker shade.
This isn't headcanon—it's literally what happened during Lancelot's fight against the Four Evils.
Why isn't Chaos Lancelot's Hazy Moon as dark as the one he manifested against the four evils ?

That's not an exaggeration, and the infinite magic doesn't work that way, It's just like infinite stamina for the magic.King and Zeldris kept throwing statements around that he's stronger than the Demon King, which feels like a bit too much glaze
How was that "no-diff"? Escanor even with The One, was shown having trouble getting through, and it took his several attacks before he was capable of breaking it... He hardly just "instantly" won... Also, Escanor accomplishing that while Zeldris had "God" is moot, since Escanor's whole thing was physically breaking through. It's not like he overpowered it with magic.Let's see if Lancelot can no-diff Zeldris tomorrow or if he will struggle.

It's not just darkness though, it also involves suction and repulsion outside of his attack range. Why is Ominous Nebula considered Zeldris' innate magic, when it's just very high speed threads of darkness, making it more of a technique?

And regarding your whole debate about dark and light Hazy Moon, with you claiming that the dark version is stronger and that this supposedly proves Lancelot’s current Chaos weapon is inferior to Nanashi’s…It's clearly not on par with Nanashi's sword; otherwise, Hazy Moon would have shifted to a darker shade.

I don't think he can understand that, since he doesn't seem to understand what's actually said in the work. That's not an exaggeration, and the infinite magic doesn't work that way, It's just like infinite stamina for the magic.
If the lake grants any level of power up, it's the natural level of the Lady of the Lake.

That's what King Zeldris said but any feats to back up this claim ?Lancelot is far stronger than Demon King
You mean the explanation that the color change is due to the magic being absorbed? That was part of the question my friend. You have talked about it many times but you fail to explain why the other explanation is ignored by you to this extent.

Any trace of a possibility that there is not the same aura there is fully absent from your POV.
You honestly answered why you push your idea so much. I appreciate it. But as a friendly suggestion, go check the difference between manga and anime in Escanor vs Meli fight. You'll understand how destructive it can be if people take artistic choices lightly. That simple misunderstanding changed the way the final act of it was perceived by anyone and it even found its way to the Grand Cross game iirc. Escanor's holy sword move is that of an idiot moving his hand in a downward line!! All because the vertical interface between Escanor's light and Mel's darkness was misunderstood by Deen animators.
If your idea about the color difference turns out to be true, I'd praise your brilliant mind a lot, but I would always be glad to know what's the problem with the simpler explanation I elaborated in my previous post.![]()

It took him exactly one chop, bro. Escanor literally nullified Zeldris's signature ability with a single chop, which is a 'no-diff' in my opinion. I don't see how that translates to him struggling in yours. How was that "no-diff"? Escanor even with The One, was shown having trouble getting through, and it took his several attacks before he was capable of breaking it... He hardly just "instantly" won... And how would it be embarrassing? Unlike Escanor who was determined to succeed, Lancelot is the opposite, he doesn't actually want to succeed. It's not as if Lancelot is giving 100% here. Logically he should have a harder time.
It's not just darkness though, it also involves suction and repulsion outside of his attack range.

Okay, what kind of absurdity is this supposed to be now?
I hope that when you’re talking about “strength” here, you’re not ignoring the actual reason the manga says Lancelot is superior to the Demon King.
Because you clearly don’t seem to understand what you’re reading. The characters in the story aren’t basing that comparison on some specific ability of Lancelot. They’re talking about his raw power, or his overall level of power.
Back in the Demon Realm, Zeldris literally stated that he could sense a presence superior to that of the Demon King himself.
Does that automatically mean it encompasses absolutely everything? No.
Chaos Lancelot can very well be stronger than the Demon King without necessarily being able to one-shot Zeldris, and that would still be perfectly logical. The Demon King himself was never shown to be capable of one-shotting Zeldris either, and more importantly, he had an absurd arsenal of abilities, including his innate magic that rendered other people’s magic ineffective against him.
And as for Lance’s magic, claiming here that its power is infinite simply means you’re ignoring what the Lady of the Lake actually is.
For the record, she describes herself as an infinite magical reservoir, and she describes Lance’s magic as the most powerful, with an attack capable of surpassing Némésis in terms of power. That’s it.
The Lady of the Lake never described Lance’s magical power itself as infinite. She talked about his greatest potential, while she herself, or rather her lake, was described as an infinite reservoir of magic.
So claiming, after reading the manga, that Lance’s magical power is infinite is honestly absurd.
Because if that were actually the case, then Lance should have already been described as superior to the Demon King long before obtaining Chaos. Yet that superiority only comes into play after the Chaos boost.
So what are you going to say now? That Chaos somehow boosted a magical power that was already infinite?
Do you see how absurd that sounds?
What we do know is that Chaos did boost Lance, which directly contradicts the idea that his magical power was already infinite, since his power increased after the Chaos pact.
Here’s a little advice: try actually reading your damn manga instead of talking so much shit.
As for Lance’s Chaos weapon, the idea that you want to dismiss it as “badgame” exists purely in your dreams and nowhere else.
You literally brought up some kind of “Chaos rewind” when talking about this weapon, even though nothing we’ve seen so far has actually shown that.
And I think you forgot one important detail when making that argument: whenever the Perils or Cath were “rewound,” we could clearly see that they were affected, injured, and so on.
Yet when it comes to this weapon, it hasn’t shown any weakness whatsoever against the numerous techniques Lance has used with it so far.
And he has used Shining Road more times than you can count. For the record, he completely destroyed Camelot by spamming Shining Road over and over.
And considering the size of Camelot, I really don’t think you can seriously argue that he only used ten Shining Roads.

And regarding your whole debate about dark and light Hazy Moon, with you claiming that the dark version is stronger and that this supposedly proves Lancelot’s current Chaos weapon is inferior to Nanashi’s…
Since you apparently can’t read your damn manga, just look at the actual panels.
Chapter 204, page 14: Ironside uses the forbidden spirit technique, Hierophant Unleashed, on Percy. And when he uses it, we can clearly see a dark energy surrounding Percy, along with spiritual markings all around it. And I’m specifically emphasizing those spiritual markings.
Then, in chapter 205, page 11, Ironside uses that same technique, Hierophant Unleashed, again. Except before it is activated, Lancelot absorbs the incantations surrounding his sword.
Then, later in the same chapter, page 18, Lancelot gathers all the attacks from the Perils that he absorbed at the tip of his blade.
And it’s specifically because of the color we see around this combination of attacks that you came up with your ridiculous theory about a supposed “dark Hazy Moon.”
But if you actually look at the panel you’re basing this on, you can see that the entire aura contains spiritual markings. The exact same markings we saw around Ironside’s attack when he used it on Percy.
And the color surrounding those markings is also identical to the one surrounding Percy.
So it would make far more sense to conclude that this dark coloration is primarily coming from Ironside’s Hierophant Unleashed.
Personally, that’s what I’m basing this on: what the attack had already shown when it was used on Percy, combined with the fact that we know Lance absorbed that attack.
So no, the color is most likely not coming from the combination of the Perils’ attacks or whatever else you want to attribute it to. It comes from Ironside’s attack itself.
You can literally see it from the markings, which are identical to the ones surrounding Percy, as well as the color itself, which matches the exact color you’re attributing to this supposed dark Hazy Moon.
So, bro, stop talking shit nonstop and just accept that your theory is extremely shaky.![]()
Maybe you don't realize that Lance with Chaos is considered superior to the Demon King, taking into account the fact that he was boosted by ChaosLancelot in the Grudge of Edinburgh movie was still struggling against fodder characters in his fights, even though he already possessed Infinite Magic.
This proves that having Infinite Magic doesn’t automatically make Lancelot the strongest, as he currently has no way to fully utilize it.
I believe his Sacred Treasure will eventually bridge this gap.
That is exactly my point: it is only with his ST that he can be considered equal to or above the Demon King. But right now?
I don't see how that's possible, even in his Chaos Lancelot form.

The color change is due to Ironside's unleashed hierophant, and that's all. That has been proven incorrect multiple times. Recently, the demons threw a massive ball of literal darkness at Lancelot, yet his 'Hazy Moon' didn't change color at all.
Furthermore, if the attacks from the Four Perils changed the color of his Hazy Moon because they are buffed by Chaos, then Chaos Lancelot should have that same dark Hazy Moon. Yet, it remains the exact same light-shaded color; nothing changed.
Lancelot's magic is simply enormous and overwhelming. Swallowing those puny magical and physical attacks would never alter the color of his massive magical energy.
So the Idea that it's an artistic choice, it doesn't make sense to me.
Nakaba wouldn't change the color of a character's signature move solely for artistic reasons.
It’s also completely unnecessary; he didn't need to highlight the ice or Pellegarde's attacks because he simply used Gawain's commentary to clarify that everything was being absorbed.
Furthermore, Nanashi's 'Cross of Light' attack shared the exact same color as Lancelot's 'Hazy Moon,' yet Nakaba didn't feel the need to highlight Hazy Moon with a different color.
As for the other explaination that it's because of the magic being absorbed , that's been proven incorrect many times , recently the demons threw a huge ball of literally darkness at Lancelot but still his Hazy Moon didn't change colors.

Please reread the chapter; he sensed the power of her magic. When Zeldris felt that Lancelot is stronger than the demon king , he simply felt his enormous magic which we already know is above demon king.
But having more magical reserves doesn't automatically mean you're above the demon king.

In Seven Deadly Sins, characters are scaled using three categories: Magic, Strength, and Spirit.
However, when characters sense someone's 'power,' they usually only mean their magic, as that is the only component that can actually be felt.
For example, King didn't sense Ban’s post-Purgatory power-up until Ban actively began exchanging blows with the Demon King.
Similarly, Cath couldn't sense much power from Ban, yet he was getting completely destroyed by him.
This is because Ban's growth was primarily physical—fitting into the Strength category—which cannot be sensed.
When it comes to Lancelot, people are basing their assumptions solely on the magic they can sense from him.
So yes, while his magical reserves are indeed superior to the Demon King's, that’s about it; it's just raw energy that is basically useless in battle right now because he cannot fully utilize it.
His actual strength is most likely around Ban's level, or perhaps slightly above, but it is definitely not Demon King level.
As for the dark 'Hazy Moon' theory, I already addressed that in a comment above.
And regarding the Ironside point? Ironside only changed the color of Percival's inner self because he was corrupting him with a specific magic targets Spirits.
Why would that ever change the color of Lancelot's Hazy Moon? It makes no sense.
You're talking nonsense; you responded by saying the exact same things I did, as if you were refuting me. Besides, the Edinburgh incident actually ended up supporting my point.Lancelot in the Grudge of Edinburgh movie was still struggling against fodder characters in his fights, even though he already possessed Infinite Magic.
