Not the most eventful chapter, but I can appreciate Zeldris getting his moment in the spotlight before his impending defeat. I don't really understand why Nakaba made him use this brand new lightning attack instead of the much cooler Dies Irae technique from NnT though. It's also weird that Lancelot was unable to absorb it even though it doesn't look any bigger or stronger than Nanashi's cross slash. The rules behind the absorption are somehow still unclear this far into the manga.

The new Indura has a really wacky design and apparently some unusual abilities as well. The fact it sealed Lancelot away the moment it appeared is a little worrying since this could mean that he's just going to one-shot it the moment he breaks out. I really want to see some proper Indura action at least once in the sequel so I hope it puts up a decent fight. The way things are going I'm guessing Lancelot is about to get a power-up, which seems unnecessary given how strong he supposedly already is, but I suppose it could be more of a mental thing. I can't wait for him to eventually lose the Lady of the Lake so that he will finally have to invent an actual fighting style instead of just spamming the same attack over and over again using her endless magic reserves.

Also I'm not even going to say what the gate to the Abyss looks like.

Exactly , Chaos Lancelot will always be held back by the true Lancelot , thus his actual combat power will be relative to the cast who's meant to stop him.

And that's why Cath ends up leaving his body and possesses Ban instead.

I always wondered : Why would Cath leave Lancelot's body and takes over Ban ?

But this clears it all up , I should have seen this coming.

Ban would put up just as much if not more resistance than Lancelot so I doubt Cath would accomplish anything by switching hosts.

Wait, Zeldris dodged Shining road when last week he was saying it's too fast to dodge?

I think the idea is that Zeldris was caught off-guard the first time around since he had never seen the technique before, but now that he knows what's coming he's able to react to it better. Lancelot did something similar in the previous arc with how he got better and better at dealing with Galahad's magic the longer their fight went on.

It is enough though, him being able to constantly regenerate it after it breaks takes away the only problem he’s at with weapons which is that they eventually break from the strain of having to withstand his magic. Using chaos to rewind the weapon effectively removes that weakness

Nah I gotta disagree on that, when Lancelot spoke to the lady of the lake she mentioned that Cath should’ve completely consumed him but just like how Lancelot was able to absorb her which shouldn’t have been possible he’s also able to hold on to some of his sanity to resist. To me this indicates that there’s something about Lancelot specifically that allows him to do these things, maybe it’s because he’s a hybrid, or maybe it’s because of hazy moon.

Nakaba hasn’t revealed yet what makes Lancelot so special but regardless I think we’re meant to assume that only Lancelot would be able to resist to this extent so Cath would actually have a better chance with Ban then he’s having with Lancelot. Even if we assume Ban could resist Caths control it definitely wouldn’t be to this extent as both Lancelot and to a lesser extent Arthur who is the king of chaos and had to be separated from him both have said or shown that Caths influence on his host is strong

This isnt gonna age well at all when Lancelot loses the little resistance he’s able to give and shows us that Zeldris has only lasted this long and done this well because he’s trying to hold back not because Zeldris is as good as yall think he is

Let's not pretend that Lance stays locked up and that's gonna be it. Because that doesn't solve anything.

He will get out. Guess we will learn next week whether that is via some bullshit power-up or him having actually held back the whole time. Both is shit but it's gonna happen one way or another because neither Cath nor the LotL can realistically let him stay locked up.

One handed is his typical fighting style. He is certainly not holding back by using his left arm. He is already using his dominant arm so I don't think there is much else here to gain from that. This isn't Bleach. It's much more likely for him to break out because he no longer can hold out fighting back mentally against Cath and the stupid cat gets full access.

You can turn it however you want, right? It's not gonna be a satisfying event whatsoever, except for the you-know-who's, maybe.

Especially if Nakaba decides to skip or shorten certain important things because this whole Chaos Lancelot affair is already starting to drag and we aren't even close to Cath getting his revenge or close to an encounter with Ban. This is going to go on for MONTHS
