#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

pretty underrated, I understand why the editorial team pushes this manga so much, because it does have a good chance of blowing up in success sometime, maybe with the anime release

I think this is a Viz thing, rather than Manga+. Series translated by Viz have noticeably lower quality pages than series by manga+'s other groups.

I assume they host the high quality versions on their own site/app? And give Manga+ the lower quality ones to entice people to their own app.

I think my goal for 2027 is promoting Shinobi Undercover. I think it deserves more visibility and to not be the action series with less following.

Now that it has reached 100 chapters, what are your thoughts of Shinobi Undercover?

I think Kiyoshi and nue both have their hate-doms that contribute to there seeming to be more conversations about both. (Sales, ranking, general “content”) Meanwhile shinobi is really inoffensive, it ranks well, sells well enough, and doesn’t really have anything controversial about it, so people sorta forget about it. The only real controversy I’ve seen (and admittedly contributed to), is just it being a color page hog, but also everyone acknowledges that it’s probably due to the authors being a duo, and so that gets dismissed easily.
What surprises me most is just the mangaplus rankings for it and kiyoshi. Usually I’ve seen a longer series have less views than a series comparable to it, but somehow 5k more people read Kiyoshi than shinobi. Idk, I’d always just assume the opposite would be true, or that they’d be closer together.

For Bleach & Naruto's return, I'm gonna be a bit controversial here...
I would rather both of them not come to Weekly Jump again & instead go to somewhere like Jump + or SQ, for reasons that I've stated last time, we've been getting a lot of veterans & returnees coming to the magazine & not enough new blood which Jump needs more of.
If they do come back, I would prefer if both of them take up an extra slot in the magazine as a little bonus, rather than take a slot that could've gone to a mangaka that would probably make better use of it like with HxH.
I'm deeply afraid of Weekly Jump falling into creative bankruptcy, due to it being one of the last remaining mainstream entertainment companies to not fall victim to it as we've seen in the West to an almost dystopian degree & would rather remember Modulo as a fun little surprise sequel rather than as an ill omen of things to come.

I sorta agree. I don’t think they should all run at the same time, instead I think they should run in the same “slot”, (that Hxh has). Like tbh, I’d be more fine if they left a slot open for their desperate nostalgia baiting, rather than having like 2 slots be taken up for it. But yeah, it’s going to be very desperate when Gintama returns in like 5 years after 2b is cancelled and jump needs that boost, and it’ll be even sadder when Oda returns for two piece in 7.

As someone who reads on Viz's apps their uploads are definitely not high quality; if I had to guess they probably think free product = lower quality product

Issue 46:

1. Nue's Exorcist
Finally Gakuro and Nue fighting as equals, no sacrifices here, we're going for the perfect run. Battle had a mix of sword combat choreography and cool chuuni powers, but with the duo having to come up with team play as they can't beat Kasha's brute force head on. Great point before the deserved anime announcement.

2. Ura
Whole chapter was an excuse to draw Ura in different outfits. Kuroki may be Jump's best artist. The equation is simple, the end result is an excellent chapter. If full battle chapters get praised for their art, the same goes for all other genres and Ura is at the top of the game for romcom art.

3. Roku
Isn't it great when a whole chapter exists for a single punchline at the end and it perfectly hits you?

4. Sakamoto Days
This is always at its best when it's about Sakamoto picking random bullshit to fight Jackie Chan style. Everything flows better and the read goes by fast because I'm having a good time. Could be higher if not for the bit where the characters stop to explain something we already understand.

5. Someone Hertz
Girl failure OL!

As for others, I hope Animal Signal doesn't overuse the wombat in the time it has left. Still was funny, but already felt a bit repetitive. Was also surprised at the lack of comedy in Hero Destroyerz, some good ideas in the after fight talk, but I'm glad it still ended with a joke.

- Sakamoto Days ends & Cannon Master + Hal Formula get axed (one of them could potentially get lucky & survive another batch if Witch Watch ends before then)
- An axed mangaka returns (likely someone like Nakama, Watanabe or Kobayashi)
- We get an unserialized GFC winner (most likely Tabigoro Kuji)
- We get another rookie to cap off the magazine year
- If no returnees, then 3 rookie series for that batch, GFC winner included.
- Bleach returns for a little bit and takes up an extra slot to start 2027 off with a bang

Some of the character archtypes in this series are stuff are kind of old fashioned/something you'd see more commonly in older manga. The pervy friend of haiji who molests and then we got the okama(I don't know if just a fishnet top and lipstick is enough to fall under this) villain who's slightly crazy and sadistic(Possibly masochistic too?). The chapters are hinting at a lengthy arc so Under Doctor seems more than safe!

I'm happy they skipped the fight between the two(they did scrap a little in the prior chapter so maybe that counts as the fight) and went straight to the resolution. The fighting to become allies is usually noise to me. Yeah lighting up a cig with powers is always cool lol.

Cannon master fight looked so sick today. They should keep these tussles to humanoids and leave out the big robots.

Author was cooking up this sakamoto chapter in his head for a long time. The power of sakamoto and his family's daily life . Anything that has his family in it is 10/10 be it flashbacks or present!

Kiyoshi isn't at the same level as kumugi but good enough

Another ichi chapter humiliating Spica? Always welcome.

people forget that even when the editor does his job, its the author job to write and create. It's been a while that people are trying to tie Naruto's success and how amazing the story is as "the editor's achievement"
