I still think it's a waste these two didn't have a child together , it could have made a great antagonist in the future.

With Meliodas surpassing the demon king and Elizabeth displaying supreme deity level powers despite her human body, Tristan is pretty much the equivalent of them having a child.

So, is the Liones group going to face the holding-back version of Lancelot—the one Zeldris basically low/mid-diffed?

We have King, Old Ban, Diane, Tristan, Gawain, Percival, Merlin, and Arthur.

They're no-diffing his ass if he arrives in Liones with this level of power.

But if they fight the full-power version (not holding back), who is basically superior to the Demon King, then he's the one no-diffing them.

This disparity in power is huge; they should have made the holding-back version of Lancelot a bit more powerful.

I think the danger lies in Lancelot losing his ability to hold back even for a short period of time during the fight.

:hmm:hmm:hmm:hmm
7 chapters until the end of volume 30, and Canceloth is now in the DR.

The current problem can't be wrapped up in 7 chapters most probably. It's safe to assume part 2 will be longer than part 1. But will this be the end of Canceloth and part 2?

The two major parts both ending in a fight inside the demon realm is a nice coincidence whether it's accidental or intentional. Of course this pattern breaks if Lance leaves the DR or moved out of it before the final confrontation.

The role of Lancelot himself and the use of his ST in this fight is still a matter of debate. If Nakaba has the same possession scenarios like NnT in his mind (4C Mael, DK Mel, DK Zel), we may never see the full power of Canceloth due to Lance's resistant from within till the end. Until either the host is changed (Like your Ban theories) or Cath itself is somehow kicked out of Lancelot's body.

I wish for a 4KotA+Arthur fight against Cath at some point with Arthur landing the final blow, and I expect a great sacrifice right before their victory. Ban is like a guaranteed candidate. Lady of the Lake or the power of Chaos can be good choices as well. They are even better than Ban as their absence can smooth out the plot a bit and help Nakaba get rid of some crazy power levels that call for even crazier justifications.

Comparing the chapter count with NNT once more reveals some curious parallels which have you think Nakaba follows a strict plan, albeit a very formulaic one.

Right now Estarossa loses his mind and turns into Commandment Mael, meanwhile Meliodas prepares to become the next DK.

Its evil transformations everywhere and tells us what we can expect from Lancelot next, I suppose.

I think we are going to see the full power of Chaos Lancelot for short periods of time, much like how the Demon King used his power briefly when he managed to weaken Meliodas's will.

Chaos Lancelot's strength was specifically hyped up to be superior to the Demon King's. Nakaba will surely unleash it—even if only for a minute every once in a while—to raise the stakes; otherwise, keeping Lancelot in a perpetually holding-back state feels like a joke.

Furthermore, Zeldris telling the Demon Clan to evacuate to the Abyss strongly implies that Chaos Lancelot is about to do something catastrophic to the Demon Realm, perhaps even nuking it completely.

As for how the plot will unfold, I think Ban will get possessed first. Once Lancelot exorcises him and everyone lets their guard down, Cath will seize the opportunity to eat Arthur whole.

This will cause Cath to evolve into his final form, absorbing all the powers of Chaos.

In my opinion, that will be the final battle for Part 2: the 4KOTA vs Full Chaos Cath.

If it means this stupid looooooooong plot is gonna end, I'm all for it. It would be even better if LotL is also dealt with to finally let Lancelot's own character show up a bit more.

Like always, the most powerful one has the least development. I still remember all those potentially wonderful moment Nakaba lost during NnT just because of some nasty ex machina powers that ruined both the plot and the characters. All the sacrifices that immediately became pointless due to the existence of all those otherworldly powers. I seriously hope some of these unneeded powers to leave the world so the story can actually develop while Nakaba has still time to improve the manga.

I don't really think the Lady of the Lake would leave Lancelot at all; "Lancelot of the Lake" has always been his title in Arthurian legends.

It's a massive part of his character. Lancelot will never lose his connection to the lake, and Galahad never implied such a thing about the future.

Also, can we stop saying the lake made Lancelot as broken as he is?

Lancelot's strength has never been about his amount of magic, his ability to spam Shining Roads, or any of his other magical attacks.

His magical attacks have only ever been useful for taking out fodder, and that's it.

Besides, the lake herself said his magic would eventually grow to surpass Nemesis in power, and that was before he absorbed the lake's power.

So, Lancelot doesn't really have a shortage of magical power.

The lake merely gives him the ability to spam those ridiculous, Nemesis-level Shining Roads, as well as his ability to absorb attacks.

No, Lancelot's strength has always been one thing: his physical strength.

This is something the lake had nothing to do with. Lancelot didn't humiliate Chaos Arthur with magical attacks; he used his physical strength.

Lancelot didn't defeat Nanashi with a magical attack; he defeated him with a kick after he perception-blitzed him.

Lancelot also defeated the Four Perils with a single sword slash (enchanted with moon of 18) after he perception-blitzed them as well.

LotL appeared way before Lancelot as a cheat code to selectively replenish DK Zel even though the sins were fighting him on the same ground. The the Lake suddenly absorbed nemesis to save the land. Then for some unknown reasons, she decided she must abduct people and kill them within her own dimension. Them appeared the one who drank it all! And now she is in love with him praising him like crazy. Doesn't listen to Cath. Has an elfish appearance without an explanation. But her bottom part is an amalgamation of horrifying sea creatures. Thanks to her, Lancelot's can use one single technique indefinitely because the charger is plugged in!

There could be alternatives, she could be less of a cheat code, and more of a character worthy of her title as the priestess of Chaos. I expected too much from her, but she turned out to be a monstrosity with an anthropomorphic appendage. Another shallow character with a forced relationship with Lancelot.

I don't care about the exact details of how Lancelot's power is influenced by LotL and which part of his abilities are from him. I just see how another waste of a great potential is damaging Lancelot's character. I just started to believe that 4KotA may be a better story without these crazy brainless idiots.

How does her power damage his character? She is her own person, he seized her power with his. The issue is the execution of that Chaos Lancelot plot.

Exactly making Cath the villain again after chaos Lancelot makes no sense since he himself already admitted he wouldn’t be able to beat Lancelot even if he did get all of chaos. Plus on top of that Lancelot is gonna have his st by then and the other knights will be stronger from their training too so unless Cath takes the lake with him when he leaves Lancelot then he’s not gonna be the villain again

Cath said he's not sure if he could beat him , he's not certain if he could or not.

I always thought if Chaos turns out to be the final villain , then the lady of the lake would play a more essential role to the plot.

Because's she's the priestess of Chaos , she'd know more about Chaos better than anyone.

That’s basically admitting defeat already, mind you he said that about Lancelot without a st. So again making him the villain after this wouldn’t make sense unless Lancelot is nerfed by taking the lake away or he’s completely removed from the fight and it’s the other 3 knights fighting Cath alone

Maybe Cath assumed Lance could use his full power without his Sacred Treasure ; Cath doesn't know how much he needs it in a fight.

Or, who knows? Maybe he'll change his mind after he acquires all the power of Chaos and gains a boost of confidence.

Not to mention, Lancelot himself might be a bit out of breath from all the battles he's been having, which would make it the perfect chance to defeat him.

We've seen how tired and bloody he was after his fight with what I assume is "Chaos Ban" in Guinevere's vision.

Lancelot already has some absolutely useful abilities, mind reading, shape shifting, and the unknown hero type magic hazy moon. The infinite magic provided by the lake means he doesn't need to be afraid of a magic depletion at all.

You can see the result. Shining road here, shining road there, shining road this, shining road that lol. It even forced Nakaba to ignore his own explanation of shining road as a homing magic stream that follows the target till it reaches it when Zel simply dodged it. No sign of any impact or damage, no more explanation as to why it happened.

A character's journey in a story in the most basic form consists of the initial and final equilibrium, with a challenge and confrontation in between. What is the challenge, a core problem he needs to confront here? No matter how strong, enemies should have no chance against him. His old master was a problem he couldn't solve by pure strength, but she most probably died during his rampage. Then we have the forced love and I protect you by destroying everything, a contradiction that's a smart callback to how Chaos was introduced in NnT.

One can argue that "the strongest of all protagonist" usually faces with internal struggles. A concept that became visible after Cath took Guin hostage and Lance let the cat in to protect her love from immediate demise. Now he has faced with a tangible struggle that would reshape his personality in the future. All thanks to Cath Palug. Unlike Cath, LotL never was a problem. Her presence within Lancelot was never a threat. There's no sign of a hidden agenda. An archaic character with a will of her own has become the slave of Lancelot. She deliberately chose to be by his side filling his magic reservoir forever. That adds nothing to his character arc and flattens many of the potentially good peaks in his plot lines. So yeah, I hope her bye bye time is getting close.

I always thought if Chaos turns out to be the final villain , then the lady of the lake would play a more essential role to the plot.

I used to expect so much about Chaos and LotL, but after 257 chapters of no development and weird decisions by the author, I've lost all my hopes. I'd rather the manga returns to what NnT initially was. A mostly human-only universe with deep multilayered characters with more complex interactions. These one dimensional shallow powerhouses don't serve the story any good.

It's up to Nakaba. To end his masterpiece in one single memorable part, or ruin it till the very end! But with Chaos around, his chance of success seems to be near zero!

Of this means the focus does not shift to the other KotA any time soon, and is gonna follow Zel vs Lance till its conclusion, I'd call it bad news!

We're obviously getting a repeat of the Demon King fight here, so we'll get a fight with the possessed Lancelot followed by the fight with Cath himself, and all Cath has going for himself is his immortality, which presumably Arthur's blood will counter.

We've seen how tired and bloody he was after his fight with what I assume is "Chaos Ban" in Guinevere's vision.
That vision is from a different timeline; the current one is different, and Chaos Lancelot wasn't in it. Ban was killed in a unknow different way

The biggest proof of this is Guinevere fearing for the world even though she herself says she will live until her 71 years old.

Aside from the invasion of Liones being completely different, and it's not a wrong view, kaleidoscope sees everything accurately.
