It's not even homing, lmao, it's simply AoE that destroys organic matter onlyYour definition of homing is different.

I think the hero type thing is most likely a red herring. In the sense that the four types don't actually add up to something new or interesting or special. Powerful sure, but otherwise by any other manga's standards just a generic power. If we don't get explanations the moment Tristan gets his ST...
At least Hazy Moon is Hero Type so it can do a lot of things.
You use homing for linear trajectories that automatically change and follow suit. Like projectiles or lasers or other kinds of rays.It reminds me of "Fairy Law" from Fairy Tail, but Fairy Law can be adjusted to avoid allies and only target hostiles.
However, I don't think Lancelot can adjust his magic to avoid allies. That is likely why he had to protect Guinevere with his Chaos Wings.
This suggests that Lancelot's magic-tracking nature isn't that specific; it seems to target living beings indiscriminately.
Does that mean Lancelot wouldn't be able to use "Shining Road" to destroy a city if there were no living beings inside it to act as a target?
Couldn't have said it better myself.I think the hero type thing is most likely a red herring. In the sense that the four types don't actually add up to something new or interesting or special. Powerful sure, but otherwise by any other manga's standards just a generic power.
I omitted hero type because it's basically a magic type that accommodates 4 of the previos types. Now I will cross out the things we can confidently say do not apply to lancelot's magic by process of elimination:
- Destruction-Type
- Shifting-Type
- Healing-Type
- Search-Type
- Mental-Type
- Deception-Type
- Stealth-Type
- Enchantment-Type
- Oracle-Type
- Destruction-Type
- Shifting-Type
Healing-Type- Search-Type
Mental-TypeDeception-TypeStealth-Type- Enchantment-Type
Oracle-Type
By removing the types which don't fit we are left with destruction, shifting, search and enchantment type. Destruction because, well, the magic is comically destruction. Shifting because lancelot can change the magic's form. It's probably how he redirects the flow of magic as well. Search because IIRC the magic has shown the capacity to hone in on fools. And enchantment because he can enchant his magic onto stuff. And all of this put together adds up to... generic magic. Or maybe generic ki. There's no layers or nuance to this.
ps: I've considered that maybe search type is a bit of a stretch as well but I can't fit of any way to make healing, mental, deception, stealth or oracle fit.
Trying to make it seem like your misunderstood and you see things the rest of us don’t is just arrogance. Your theories are “hard to understand” because most of the time they simply don’t make sense and are based on what you want to happen instead of what the story is actually showing us.I don't use headcanons in my theories but my theories are sometimes hard for some people to understand , like you for example.
It's all right , I don't expect a lot of people to understand my theories , I also post them so I get to say I called it when it's revealed to be true![]()
Of course It doesn't follow , it's light and light goes in all directions but it has a lock on mechanic to it , like Fairy Law from Fairy Tail if you're familar with it.You use homing for linear trajectories that automatically change and follow suit. Like projectiles or lasers or other kinds of rays.
Shining Road is a homing attack with lock-on. The whats-it-called moon of destruction is not. It radiates light on a defined area and destroys organics within it. It does not follow, it does not randomly bend and shines sideways. It is not a homing attack. It is simply AoE which you avoid by exiting its area of effect, which is why it is called an AREA OF EFFECT ATTACK
Considering he shits out "theories" like someone who has the runs, that 1 out of 100 hit ratio is pretty impressive, just not in a flattering wayTrying to make it seem like your misunderstood and you see things the rest of us don’t is just arrogance. Your theories are “hard to understand” because most of the time they simply don’t make sense and are based on what you want to happen instead of what the story is actually showing us.
Besides the Anne nerf theory which you did call from the start and I plus many others here have gave you credit for, I can’t remember the last time you were right about a theory. You made theories about “ a fake group” of 4 knights that were supposedly the real targets the grail knights were looking for even though it was obvious that story was a lie from the start. Theories about Galahad having time magic and Ban supposedly dying from a heart attack and being possessed by Cath when he had Guinevere hostage. Those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head but they all made 0 sense and many people told you that and gave reasons but your stubbornness to admit when your wrong always wins out until Nakaba has to literally put it in your face

It's not that I'm being misunderstood; some people are just not that deep into the type of information my theories are about.Trying to make it seem like your misunderstood and you see things the rest of us don’t is just arrogance. Its still not a homing attack, end of story.Of course It doesn't follow , it's light and light goes in all directions but it has a lock on mechanic to it , like Fairy Law from Fairy Tail if you're familar with it.
That's why their clothes remained intact as they were perishing.
Tracking Magic is more accurate word , it's the search type of his hero type magic. Its still not a homing attack, end of story.
And how many times have you been able to brag and say you called it besides the Anne theory since you’ve been here ?And like I said, it's all right; because I also post them so that I get to say I called it when it's revealed to be true.
I mean, it's convenient but lancelot from the get go has been framed as being as skilled as any of the sins. Without search I'm pretty sure he could still just aim and hit stuff. Shining road and and shifting is theoretically what allows to simply hose down enemies with the lake's infinite mana.Couldn't have said it better myself.
I think Search is like the most important aspect of Lancelot's magic .
Many times but the Anne theory blew up for some reason , people don't pay attention to my other theoriesAnd how many times have you been able to brag and say you called it besides the Anne theory since you’ve been here ?
It was a theory on reddit about Lancelot being nerfed by Anne's Magic , reddit is filled with Lance haters so they refused to believe it at the timewhat was the anne theory?
Genuinely could you remind me what other theories of yours were correct beside Anne's, I sincerely can't recallIt was a theory on reddit about Lancelot being nerfed by Anne's Magic , reddit is filled with Lance haters so they refused to believe it at the time![]()
One example that comes to mind is the kidnapping of Guinevere by Cath back when Merln said Lancelot is precarious.Genuinely could you remind me what other theories of yours were correct beside Anne's, I sincerely can't recall
Exactly, there's nothing complicated about Hazy Moon, it's just pure magical manipulation.By removing the types which don't fit we are left with destruction, shifting, search and enchantment type. After Guinevere's statement "I have to do something," I think it's likely the future will change; she'll end up saying something to someone that will bring about change.I agree, I see a lot of people here and in the fandom in general want so badly for this be a branching timeline type of future story where nothing is set in stone but the writing Nakaba has shown us thus far says the opposite imo. This is more than likely a linear type of time travel mechanic he’s using and despite what some may think to me it seems clear that the future the holy grail knights come from is where the story will end.
