As mentioned by several others, the most mysterious part of this chapter was Elizabeth waking up with a suspicious grin. Right after the destruction of DR and possibly butchering of their current ruler, it's the time for the "day of resurrection"?
The timing is bad, but the title and developments suggests Nakaba might be finally ready to give GC fans a gift? Can't let my hopes trick me when I know the author, but the point nobody has mentioned is the presence of a specific character in Liones after more than a decade.
For a long time, I'd been waiting to see what happened after Merlin meddled with SD's plan in Cursed by Light. And I hoped she will use what she extracted from SD using Aldan. Did Merlin visit Ellie while Mel was asleep? Can this be another one of her plans? To let SD go rampant against Chaos and call for her elite soldiers, the AAs, to join the war? That's a great opportunity for that, and it's so like Merlin to be saving the day in way that means a bigger catastrophe lmao.
About Mel's OG magic, I can see signs of its return in this chapter. But that would be a bad decision. There was a deeper meaning in losing that ability. That power itself doesn't make someone worthy of the title of the king. What's the point of all those philosophical interpretations when what finally saves the world from Chaos is exactly the same thing Mel deliberately sacrificed? That's a very dark scenario that negates previous developments, and is alien to NnT/4KotA universe to some extents. Of course if Nakaba chooses that route and make good use of the opportunity, I'll be satisfied with auch a dark worldview!
@Mountain-Photo-165 , what about your theory that Lancelot needs a Dubs made lance to destroy realms, huh? You wanna start thinking of his Chaos enhanced lance more seriously after this chapter?
DC fans are seemingly on a rampage badmouthing Nakaba because he's finally decided not to lick demon bros arse for the first time since the start of NnT. That's a funny observation lol.
