Discussion Regarding the level of Ancients

Ancients even when their body is destroyed continue to display the power. At the current timeline they are heavily restricted.

One by their hosts. As said by Arkrinak, the ancient power depends on the hosts. Even if they somehow overcome this and get a powerful host, they will be restricted by guardians.

How powerful they were in the past that even when their body are destroyed, and now just a spirit remain yet the fear of their power is so strong that guardians will personally confront if they even try their half power.

Another display is even after they were extinguished, Jahad wasn't satisfied and he cursed the remaining ones. Why are ancients so feared? Interestingly we saw FL FP but not an ancient? Why is SIU gatekeeping their power?

I believe the Ancient Giant is an Irregular, which would mean the Native Ones are also Irregulars by default. I also believe the Native Ones are stronger than the Family Heads and that all Ancients descended from them. That’s why they’re feared imo.

I'd love this but not the issue imo. FHs probably hunted them down to consolidate their own power, not really out of fear. We still did not see anything on FH level or maybe beyond other than shinies.

On native ones, the way Hwa Ryun, then, Dumas in their fight, talked to Rak also felt similar. FUG would rather use them if they were to have that much potential, but instead Hwa Ryun just suggested to be in low profile.
Ancient ones are even lower, only sufficient for Traum to make mating experiments.

I believe they are just plotwise hyped, like, we were even hyped normal rankers before, then FUG slayers, then, corps commander, etc. We may not even talk about ancients in S4 and beyond.

They are restricted by guardians so I doubt we will see their power anytime soon unless the guardians die or they battle in FOD. There is a reason why Rak wasn't there on FOD.

The Native Ones haven’t been mentioned by anyone in the story except by Eduan. So Hwaryun wasn’t talking about them and Traumerei wasn’t experimenting on them (those were probably normal Ancients).

Yirang did say that “a few beings were stronger than them,” so I could see the Native Ones falling into that category. Also, one of Yirang’s flames was given to her by an Ancient (most likely a Native One). I really think the Native Ones are on that level.

@undefined i am talking about the time Rak bullied question mark dude to release Khun with rock power, then, Hwa Ryun almost scolded Rak about not showing this to anyone else and not carelessly. It is undoubtedly a native one related thing. Dumas also directly said "oh I never saw a one in real life" or similar when he was beating Rak. It is not that of a mystery.

And i frequently used Yirang's quotation, especially when we discussed the translation difference btw webtoon and Shiinye, and i seriously doubt she talked about native ones when she said that. Dumas would act like how the arrogant Kraken would act when it saw the icarus on Gustang's library's book: immediately making it a quest to capture and eliminate rather than going easy.

Btw, while saying "FUG would use" i thought about RAK. Otherwise, Evankhell alao has an ancient element but without those elements how would their levels be? I doubt we know. You also know the power depends on host so 'thanks to them' feels a stretch. "Level of an elder" is not a thing either. But since S3 finished with a FUG meeting we might really know it better.

That doesn't make sense though. It's a creature from the Tower so it can't be an Irregular.

As far as I can tell:

- Ancients aren't one group with similar powers but rather number of independent entities or groups spread out across the tower. Maybe in the context of the pre empire tower they served as floor bosses.

- Ancients don't have a single type of power, rather they are all distinct. Say, akrinac is distinct from beings like rak or evankhel's elephant.

- Their powers levels were probably incredibly varied.

The ancient giant is literally referred to as "the native one" when first mentioned. THE NATIVE ONE. It being from outside the tower is beyond counterintuitive.
