My Hero Academia was at the bottom of the Weekly Shonen Jump rankings (issue #40 of 2022) when it premiered.
It was 15/19 dude. I don't know what resources you're using, but please use Jajanken, this is very easy to check. You haven't been right once????

Are you like joking around here? I'm very confused.

Neither of those manga are rock bottom on this issue. And not in a row.
Dude, even big manga like these have been at the bottom of the rankings before. Bleach was at the bottom for a long time and wasn't canceled. But you guys want Kagurabachi canceled, and it's not a recent thing.

Well, from what I see, Kagurabachi is the first semi-pillar series to hit two rock bottom TOC placements in a row. Let's wait to see how it will do on the next weeks.

I was right, YES, you guys just want any reason to cancel Kagurabachi from Jump.

See like he could have used Gintama, which I saw hit bottom at least once across like the 15ish issues I was checking (to vet his Haikyu and MHA claims). I can't say if it hit bottom twice or not, but like.
I'm still very confused at what the claims were about.

How? Like you genuinely are not? You made this claim that was very easy to check, and it wasn't true. How would you be right? Your examples didn't even show the series hitting dead last, let alone dead last twice?
Is this some elaborate troll job?

My examples showed series at the bottom, and that's undeniable, but if you want series at the bottom, fine, Bleach stayed at the bottom for a long time and wasn't canceled. The same goes for Gintama, which you mentioned.

I just don't believe that Kagurabachi somehow is getting less votes than some of these other series. Def some other explanation. Call me a hater but this is the most washed era of Jump ever so I highly doubt some of these other series really have more people submitting more votes in the survey every week

You guys take this thing of "X series above Y" too at face value, everybody knows ToC placements isnt a 1:1 representation of how many votes you get in the survey, do you guys think Bleach was getting less votes than 99% of magazine through Fullbring & TYBW arcs despite selling over 500k copies per volume? Obviously not, that doesn't mean Bleach wasn't in a all time low in popularity during these times, and i'm not saying Kagurabachi is at a "all-time low" popularity in the moment, but that it doesnt need to be "the series with the least votes" at all to be placed in the bottom 1 ~ 3, just a combination of not much of a good arc reception and being late on submissions too.

Hokazono also doesn't seem to be really "dying" like we talk so much, he is publishing the standard 15 pages with perfectly fine art and no breaks, that looks okay to me.

Class 2B Hero Destroyerz Volume 1 is getting a reprint announced on Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #49 of 2026!

Glad that Class 2-B has been picking up steam. Seems like 2026 could be a stacked year for new hits.

Yeah, Sakamoto Days chapter, to me it feels like "that's it" lol: The entire chapter is in a set that resembles Sakamoto family's house the whole fight sequence is like a emotional build up to the final spread page where is basically a "final punch" by Sakamoto

If the next vol also has 10 chapters, would be something like:

v29: 256 ~ 265
v30: 266 ~ 275
v31: 276 ~ 285 (ch281 this week)

Since it doesn't need to fill the whole volume to end, it feels very in sync to end in 2/3 chapters for me 🤔

I know that after this next issue (possibly) we could get a new batch. A part of me is excited, but at the same time, 5 out of the 8 series from 2026 I want to keep, and that’s the max I will go because it’s impossible to keep 6 series going for over 2 years minimum.

At least for more comedic series like Roku. Under Doctor and the Newest batch with Ura and greykeith batch are still a coin flip.

Anyway, Shinuki how is the newest one shot? Better than the original in jump giga?

Are you reading Hal Formula? Did you read Harukaze and DttF? If the answer is yet to all then tell me how these "chapters" feel the same to you? It's not just about setting up the "rivals", it is also the way things are going. DttF was a huge flop (arguably DOA even before it was revealed he was plagiarizing), Harukaze is probably a better comparison but only for the fact that Hal will last more than 20 chapters (like Harukaze did). I think it's the best sports manga we have gotten in the last few years. Does anyone agree with this sentiment?
😭? why are u shittalking dttf (which fairs) for this point and act like i said dttf = hal formula? all I said it that it doesn't matter what a manga is setting up it can still easily get axed lol. this was about axing decisions and the story decisions during that process so what does "feeling the same" and " X > Y" to do with this? I never said or implied anywhere that DttF => Hal Fromula quality wise be fr

and to answer your question, yes I read them all. truly battle of mid imo. they're all flops that haven't been doing good in the surveys and sales I think we can agree on that :super
