LeBron deserves no criticism for the situation, he could've either gone for the lay-up/dunk and either get fouled (not guaranteed) or be called for an offensive foul, or he could do what he went with which is pass to the free man who could potentially shoot a 3 to tie it and force more time. The only problem with that is that the free man was Danny fucking Bricks.
