Have you ever had kusa mochi? Literally grass mochi. It might sound meh but it’s actually delicious. Had some homemade in may 2012, still remember the taste.

My matcga tasted better as a hot bev than a cold one so I guess I understand it better now- way less grassy warm/hot. Mine is a blend with vanilla flavour and that sung through with hotter temps
