Hi everyone! One of the reasons i started frequenting Mangahelpers, a couple of years ago, was the reviews! Yeah, in the threads people used to say funny stuff, sometimes not so funny, but there were reviews i really enjoyed reading. I've always been, of course, a big "Bittman's reviews" fan, but everybody who started doing reviews did it absolutely fine, and they were all enjoyable. Lately, there are not so many regular review writers, so i decided to start writing some on my own, but i hope everybody will join the discussion and make the review even better. I'll thank everybody who contributes, while i'll ignore bakapeople who can only criticize, and there are many on Mangahelpers. So, if you are not one of those, I hope you'll enjoy my

So the news are spreading, the Strawhats are back together and are ready to rock this world again!! But it doesn't exactly seem it's an important new uh? No first page for our heroes, but just half a page in the middle of the newspaper, right after the sports pages. The journal talks also about Wapometal, we'll see if the former king of Drums will be seen again in One Piece or this is just a cameo.
The chapter
The umibozou is actually a fishman, a giant tiger blowfish. Does it mean he can get bigger than that? We still don't know. What we know is that Van der Decken is actually a crew of dumbasses! the captain has this strange habit to throw axes and other weapons(but with roses on it) to the woman he loves. He also thinks that Shiraoshi loves him too, but the royal family segregates her because they don't want them to be together. In the next page, we learn Van der Decken is a Fishman too, a bullhead shark type. He has four legs, foot bracelets, like Arlong, and wears a cowboy hat. That will mess with the theories about Shirley predicting Van der Decken destroys FI. By the way, he is a dumbass, but he is a villain! Someone had doubts about that. Love me or die, he is that kind of guy.
And we have Shiraoshi in all her greatness. Well, she is great, but she is a child and a crybaby. If Boa Hancock is a mature beautiful woman (a little silly maybe) Shiraoshi is a cute spoiled brat
But she has all the rights to ba a spoiled brat! First of all, she is a princess.. and second, a stalker throws weapons at her in the last 10 years! I'd be a crybaby too.
In the next page we see something interesting. Luffy feels the danger before the axe reaches the door. I'd say we have an example of Coo haki here. So Luffy masteres all types, and that was expected. It also seems that Van der decken blow was pretty strong, as Luffy has his troubles blocking the axe. Guards immediatly arrive and Shiraoshi hides Luffy behind her back. As usual, Luffy befriends immediatly with people who are not evil, and this is his most important skill, as Myhawk stated during the war.
We learn in the next pages that the strawhats are going to be arrested (yeah, just try it fishies) because of Shirley's prediction. Zoro was the first one to be arrested (ahahahahah... yeah) and other three are almost captured. We also learn that for some reason the guards cannot stay more than 5 minutes in Shirahoshi's room (maybe to don't let the door open?) so Megalo is the only one who can stay always with the princess. I wouldn't be happy with this kind of company, since it seems that Megalo is just a little bit smarter than the food Luffy enjoys with the princess.
Shiraoshi reveals us that Van der Decken is probably an ability user. We were just wondering how would behave a fishman who can't swim, and Oda is about to answer us already. Decken's ability is the "perfect sniping). From any distance, through any obstacle, 100% hits. Scary ability if you ask me, and a tricky one. In a fight, he could aim to anyone who isn't in sight, and that just sounds like cheating.
Now we get to see the playful but weak carachter of the princess. Luffy is like a little toy to her, she wants to know his adventures, she pokes him, she's amazed by his appetite, and offended by his rudeness. As luffy states, she really is a crybaby, and i don't think she's someone people would fall for (except Sanji), but maybe cuddle her. Infact Luffyu wants to take her for a walk, a little like he wanted to take Keimi to Shabaody park.
Hopefully, if she accepts, he'll pay more attention this time...
Surprise!! There are no more weaklings in the strawhats crew. Nami and Usopp are extremely confident against the guards, and Brook's swordmanships is enough, even if it wasn't enough in the Grand Line. Well, but we also know that the second best swordsman in FI is hacchan, so we know there is only ONE decent swordsman in all FI. As usual, Usopp tries to show us his new weapon, black Kabuto, and finds also the time to brag about his training with Eracles. I don't know what you thinkm guys, but I have the feeling Usopp will have to get back in the wimpy trio when he'll go in the New World, because the role that fits him better is the wimp. I'm not sure I like him being so cocky.
Neptune joins the fight, Zoro does too. Obviously he wasn't captured. It seems that the Neptune's army isn't good enough at all!
And if the Neptune army is so crappy, thay'll need the strawhats to stop the unstoppable (?) alliance between Decken and Jones. Last hint about Decken's ability, he had to wear a glove to shake hands with Jones. I've checked, he didn't have the glove while throwing the axe, so HE is the ability user, not the glove itself.
Conclusion and predictions
So the situation is getting more clear. 2 Villains, Strawhats, 1 confused team (Neptunes), Big Mom, Cariboo. these will probably be the contenders (Cariboo will probably play the role of the troublemaker). In the next Chapter we could see Luffy and Shiraoshi having a walk somewhere, and i could even see Cariboo kidnapping the princess and Luffy pointed out as the kidnapper. I hope we'll have some info about Franky or Robin.
