Theory a theory on escanors magic power

I think Escanor’s Personality change and the changes in his body (him getting beefier ) is due to his own magic and not the grace, and because his magic was so compatible it caused the grace to be attracted to and merge with his existing magic.

well nearly no one is going to reply because they fear that if escanor gets a innate magic then he will again beat meliodas 's ass that's why no one would mostly reply.
his innate magic is something that makes him special to hold the grace for 40 years. I think what Merlin said that his magic is something which none of the clans had it was a foreshadowing by Merlin for escanor innate magic but not for sunshine

He could have an innate magic that serves to maintain him relevant if he ends up losing Sun (which is most likely the case since the Grace is killing him). As you say, it could be a possibility that him holding the grace for so long was because of his innate magic to begin with.
