Urayama Minoru is care free boy who has no interest in the idol group AKB48. On the other hand he does worry about a fellow classmate Yoshinaga. She wants to become a member of this theater group and auditions for a spot. Minoru goes undercover as a female in order to help Yoshinaga with her stage fright. Words of encouragement can only go so far, and the web Minoru finds himself in is getting bigger.

Obviously the art is great,but i'm not really sure about that gender bender thing.Especially when i think of what will come in future chapter

I find the series so far very funny and unique. Minoru is surviving every challenge he faces even beating the girls at time. You don't have to know AKB 48 theater group since it teaches you along the way who the characters are.

Just discovered the series and read all 49 available chapters consecutively. I just couldn't stop...
I'm still a bit worried about the whole "cross-dressing" deal and how it will be resolved eventually, but it was incredible to see the feelings behind this manga, the story and the characters. Reminded me just a little of Bakuman, too.

Definitely going to follow that series.

Just a short question because I didn't cosplay yet: Do wigs really stick that tight?
