These are correct, man. But in the later chapters Webtoon talked about Eurasia's flames and Urek's fists as conceptual destroyers or something along those lines. Yet, when you look at 599-601 chapters Urek-Luslec scuffling, in several cases Urek's fists or attack did not really annihilated the spells, but activated its second stage.Gustang already alluded to having defeated Arlene in the past after she failed to stop him by standing in his way just like Baam did.
So yeah, it's not really news here if she's on the weaker side, people selectively believing she was on top is what brought us here in the first place.
I think you're missing the important component of shinsoo playing a part in one of this instance and absolutely devoid in the other.
Pure physical power is not the same as power enhanced by shinsoo bearing distinct properties, we know this already.
Shinsoo has functions and natures, things it can specifically affect, cause, create or destroy.
Dumas has a weird nature and is strong too to boot.
If the shinwonryu- SBHS or whatnot have one touch and spell annihilation as many think here, it is pointless to hype spells because regulars are just NPC-like anyway. One thing is, I know Urek did not enter rice pot but are we sure that he can't shinwonryu? The later chapter's conceptual power bla bla does not feel so. Shinwonryu looks like a wave controller thing, but after you got that stronger you probably do those things in any position anyway.
Another issue is again, shinwonryu was always an orb, its activated and you do things etc., but when Baam counter spells he just touches like some kind of Prophet and they are gone, he is not doing shinwonryu to deactivate spells. You gotta evaluate him separately.
In short, from what I see, it is possible that you put a cascade spell and if an irregular tries to forcefully deactivate it by shinwonryu, it might just enter the spells second stage.
I can see there are several inconsistencies in the manhwa itself, and sometimes retcons, but we should rather be wary about it instead of currying them in our favor
