Feedback Manga Downloads section tweaks

[Finestela]

1. If you chose not to upload for hosting with MH, and didn't include a link... it'll still show the DDL link, which would lead to a dead-end 404 code.

2. Would it be possible to update the files after uploading? Such as a better quality of the raw came out, etc.? Or give people options to label the quality of the raw?

3. Is it possible to make a dropdown menu to choose between chapter and volume?

4. What would happen if there are redudant files of the same chapter/volume? Is there a system in place to moderate such instances?

5. While I love the DDL option you're implementing... I'm worried about the bandwidth this is going to cost you guys There had been too many manga sites that either went down or went private because of DDL of files made the bandwidth consumption skyrocketed...

@ Point 5;
We are not too worried about this scenario occurring anytime soon. If and when we get to the point where we are needing funds, chances are high that the team behind MH will pool in outta own pockets to keep the site going, because - well, we love this website and all that it stands for

You need not worry about MangaHelpers asking for donations or employing some sort of private/paid service for you all to access this website as those are philosophies that directly contradict the vision this website operates under.

1. So true
2. You can't update them. Higher quality raws should get a new release.
3. It is possible. It is probably more intuitive than the current way (v01 for setting it as a volume)
4. There's no filtering of doubles and there is no way to tell which raw is better. So it is better to give the choice of multiple raws.

Thanks for the reply

The thing I love the most about MH is the openess and the free flowing of resources. It's great to know that my worries aren't neccessary.

And thanks for taking the tweaking suggestions into consideration. I'll be looking foward to the new system/update with great enthusiasm!
