it seems that Imu is maybe not the final boss lol i wasnt expecting this but more another party joining the fight to make Imu retreat etc but anyway we all know how One piece works, first the subordinates need to beat their opponent and then the boss, i guess we will switch to sanji and zoro probably

Ok so Imu got serious hit once. Imu who is immortal, can probably have head cut off and still regenerate. Imu who shown maybe 20% of its power. From combined attack of Loki and Luffy who is at his peak of strenght.
Remember BB taking hit from Luffy in Impel down? Now compare it to this. Yeah I know that BB is probably final villain, but you just can't tell that Imu won't be based on a one combo attack.

Im team Imu to F.V but i cant agree more with you - this fandom cant cope with the extend of Imu powers, In 13 cp Imu got 4 hits - and noone showed him any trouble, its just a one panel effect at most ! Even divine gate, and Gokuku Sovering made him bleed a LITTLE - he is way far from the state Kaidou, Katakuri,Doflamingo was when they got beat - and maybe 3 of the 10 most powerful in the verse right now (Gaban, Loki, Luffy) got all one shot by him 1 por chp

I don’t really like Usopp, but I enjoyed him calling the Giant crew his subordinates this chapter, and was kind of annoyed with Haj saying they were Luffy’s subordinates.

Respect the chain of command Haj. That’s a Yonko commander you’re talking to. Anyone on the Sunny is your fucking boss. It’s like telling your manager you actually just work for the CEO.

Yes. Haj, you can totally not be sassy with the crew of the person you forced yourself into being the underling of, said person who later said that he sees all of them as friends.
Come on, man, you have to admit Luffy would laugh at you, especially in a chapter where the speech is about freedom to choose who you fight for. Haj is free to associate himself how he likes, which is the whole point of how they became the grand fleet. Because Luffy isnt treating them like subordinates.

One thing I would add is the amount of chapters released in a year. For example:

2020- 33 chapters (967-999)

2021- 36 chapters (1000-1035)

2022- 35 chapters (1036- 1070)

2023- 32 chapters (1071- 1102)

When you look at the release cadence compared to the peak of 48 a year, we're losing more than ten chapters a year. So, fundamentally, One Piece saying it's lasting to 2032 just isnt the same as another shonen jump making the same statement. If we assume a run to 2032, at a rate of 35 chapters a year, thats 210 chapters. It really isn't that much left. It's even scarier if you tell yourself that's just two Dressrosa-sized arcs.

In 9 years Oda's is goin to hit 60s since he is 51 .. i know his japanese pride and devotions to fans who consume O.P wont let him sit on a beach on Hawaii while his assistants do the 100% while he just give instructions via whatsapp.But. He is human he have limits, i wonder how's that gonna play out..

I read this chapter on monday because Manga + was on maintenance in day of release. So, it was cool chapter. The way Loki jumped Imu was actually hilarious, he even casted shadow (which I didn't noticed at first so apparently I'm blind, lol). Hmm, I don't know how it will turn out in anime but like: Since when giants are soo fast? It looked like Loki attacked right after he finished with "hakoku" and it sended Imu away quite a bit. Previous chapter also made me wonder how he got to were Luffy and Imu were fighting soo quickly while being seriously injured. Anyway, seeing that Luffy broke through Imus shield and actually hit him pretty hard was quite heartening. It made me think that we may be just few chapters away from pushing Imu out of Elbaf. NOT DEFEATED, just run out of time because Imu didn't expected that Luffy, Loki and co will be soo persistent. Oh and Usopps speech was cool but he should help some more instead of just cheering from afar.
