There's been something that's been bothering since that one panel Alibaba recalled meeting Tess, Waid, and glasses guy, that where ever he went, he met them, and that apparently they weren't condemned to "hell" as was implied after Solomon killed Il Ilah. At first I thought that was a bit of a cope-out, that Ohtaka was "fixing" the really dick move he made, just like how she tried to imply that Il Iah was not a thinking being, but never really confirmed it for sure.

However, if Alibaba did meet them, and they are in fact in "hell", then they are where David is. Those three did not die happy deaths. Tess was burnt alive, left as a doll made of charcoal specifically made to recall his last words pleading for his parents to save him, while the glasses guy was peeled like an onion as he fought in vain. That's a pretty maddening way to die, and if falling into depravity is still a thing, all three should have done so.

So if those three fell into depravity, went to where depraved people go outside of the cycle, surely that's the same place as where David is?

Bellial's ability is meant to counter Il Ilah somehow. Perhaps literally it's meant to return Il Ilah to where it came from or rather send all Rukh to that place.

Al-Thamen were said to take over the bodies of people who have lost their Rukh. How they achieve this is unknown, but they're known to use dolls. Where did Alibaba's "doll" come from?

Alibaba and Sinbad have had similar experiences. Specifically having their countries destroyed, and gaining the black rukh of someone else in the process. And you don't have to be a singularity to use the black rukh, or "hear" David as Arba is a testament to that.

Sinbad asserts that he's in control, and to a large degree that may even be true, but when you think about it, Al-Thamen's goal was never world conquest. As monstrously powerful as they've proven to be in the last few chapters, they really should have been able to do more than they've been known to. They spread misery, but they're pretty lazy about going about it. Really, Mogamett created a black rukh furnace in under 10 years completely unknown to the larger world. How hard would it have been for Arba to round up a few hundred people and torture them endlessly in the same manner?

So Alibaba is back from "hell" and Sinbad is not completely being controlled by David. Is David using Alibaba as a trojan horse to manipulate Sinbad more fully? Even if the Alibaba we see is the "real" Alibaba, he might be real in the same sense as Sinbad is the "real" Sinbad.
