The war between Great Warriors happened before that. By the time Genesis happened, the Ten Great Families system had already been established and as we can see from the flashback, the Ten Great Families weren't even a thing at that point.

Genesis happens when zahard officially declare become king of the tower many kingdom that allies with fug oppose it so based of this current event that zahard still called "lord zahard" not "king zahard" by some towerborn he still not officially declare himself as king of tower, luslec didn't got title as fug leader, and the next become FH called their enemy is "grace people" not "fug". All of that can tell us that the genesis when start by zahard officially become king is still not happen in this current event.
