McKennie was a bit shaky at times in earlier games IMO, but chalking that up to his thigh injury. Seems like he's still struggling to give more than 60 minutes, but it's still a net gain I guess.

Last matchday in groups have simultaneous games to prevent collusion and so the match quality can be higher. If a team qualifies in the first match of Group A and in the second match the outcome no longer matters, people won't try as hard.

Thought the US had a lot of decent chances, they just couldn't finish. They decided to show their young age at the worst time to close out the first half and then Jedi completely fucked up not marking his man on the third goal. Otherwise it could have been an interesting finish.

France just didn't have it enough when it mattered. Mbappe converted when he had his chances because he's world class, but the rest of his team was just unimpressive to me. Happy for Messi to finally get the trophy.
