A drawing idea: make a classic movie-style poster promoting an anime or manga (something like this)

I got a drawing idea:

Redraw a meme in your favorite characters or characters you like. For example, you see a meme and you gonna draw that meme into your favorite characters/characters you wanna see it represent that meme (I think this sentence sounds a bit more clear).

An idea from mois:

Take 7 unique pictures (within the given time period) of location/things that represent the city/area you live in.
It's a nice little quarantine activity, it'll give people a reason to go out and take pictures without putting themselves at risk.

Here's an idea from me:

The theme is a certain time period in history. Whether it's Victorian England, Edo Japan, or the classical Wild West. From there pick a world monument past or present and transform it to look like it was made during the said time period.

So an example would be taking something like the pyramids or Taj Mahal and transforming them to fit the theme of Edo Japan or Western USA.

What about designing a set of cards?

Every since I was watching the One piece anime a couple weeks ago the Dressrosa commanders gave me the idea. So you would do the head pieces Jack, Queen, King and Ace in each of the four colours and the back of the card deck obviously to tie it all together.

- "best friend" freestyle (can be used for valentine or any seasonal contest). create any artwork (be it visual arts or writing or any other form) dedicated to your most beloved MH one. prove it that they are not alone and you are always there for them

the 3 leaderboard artists of last year should brainstorm their idea in their own private chat for the category/theme, as unique, fresh as possible, then it will be revealed when the art mods create the thread. surpriseee~

basically a challenge..

but those 3 can still join the contest tho~

For the Spring contest, what’s about the theme of “Rebirth”?

Not sure if it has been done already, but for drawing contest the pixel art. Or it could just be a "category" and have a theme like Pixel Art - Rebirth for example.

Also if animation category ever makes on come-back, Sprite Animation or Pixel Art would be a fun theme. Though I'm not sure if any regular other than me has ever done anything like that.

hmm, I checked the dates for olympics is july 23-august 8, while summer contest ends on july 18. but it's okay, we can do it

Maybe to extend that idea, why don’t we form team like previous contest (one for drawing, writing, etc)? Then people can vote for their favorite drawing, writing, etc individually? First place would get gold; second, silver; third, bronze except it will be points (gold will get 3 pts, silver gets 2 while bronze get 1). After the voting is over, we can total the scores to get the overall winner.

For example, Team #1 got gold for drawing and bronze for writing, but got 0 points for banner set (or whatever); therefore they got 4 points.

I hope that makes sense.
