I'm going to vote Laxus.

In my opinion, he has the better personality and character overall. I thought that his backstory was well fleshed out. It illustrated a lot of important points about growing up in life.

And I'm pretty sure many people can relate to Laxus' struggles as a child too.

Living and being stuck in another person's shadows isn't always easy. I can understand Laxus' inferiority complex with Makarov being his grandfather.

Not to mention, Ivan didn't really help the situation by being a corrupted father and a selfish person.


In addition, Laxus has always had some of the most badass entrances and fights throughout the manga.

So yeah, I'll support Laxus in this category.
