I nominate I Am a Hero for best horror.

This is the zombie apocalypse genre done right.

I would go with I am a Hero too, but as it looks like we're lacking nominations at all I'll nominate Monster. This is not so much horror, but it definitely is a mystery - an intense and complex one that'll leave you flipping the pages (or hitting the right arrow on your screen) wanting to know what happens next. Unlike many long manga out there, this is one that doesn't waste its pages or chapters.

I nominate Uzumaki for Best Horror.
I can easily pick up any Junji Ito work and it'd be good, but Uzumaki is without doubt my favourite.

I nominate Shingeki no Kyojin for best Mystery/Horror.

The world reduced to a small city and pretty much nothing known for the enemy , mystery that just grabs you from chapter 1.

If you are talking about the anime then it doesn't fit here, this is the Manga Award. The sound Novel wouldn't count either. If you are talking about the manga then you need to specify the title, as there are a lot of Higurashi mangas out there like f.ex. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jan.

I will nominate Soil as best mistery. This was really an interesting discovery for me this year. The art style is very unique for a manga ( almost westernal ) and the characters are also atypic. Each chapter brings some answer only to raise 10 more questions. It's really hard to not click on next chapter once started

I nominate Hideout as best horror/mystery.

It is a new manga that was recently picked up, it was completed during 2010 and it really is intense and has a very interesting approach on horror. It is a very alternative manga, maybe not even a typical horror in some occasions.

I support I Am a Hero for this category. I tend to have a soft spot for loser-y guys and characters, so I can't help but root for the main character of this manga. Couple that with a zombie apocalypse, paranoia, hallucinations, and other psychological elements and what you have is pure win.

Oh well...in that case I think I'll nominate Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni: Watanagashi Hen. Since there's so many chapters I can't decide which one's the best, but I like the mystery in this one the most so there XD
