Post nominations for Favorite Animation in this thread. This category is meant to honor anime that you think have the most appealing animation.

Nomination Rules

• Nominate up to three anime.
• Please clearly state the title of your nomination.
• Please bold the title of all nominations.
• The five anime with the most nominations will proceed to the next round.
• Past winners will not be eligible again for this category.

Participants are allowed to change one nominee each. To request a change, post what nomination you would like removed along with your new nomination.

Nominations will be open from December 22, 2013 until January 4, 2014. The second round will begin on January 7, 2014 allowing the staff 48 hours to count nominations.

Spoiler: Notes About Past Animation Past Winners

The 2010 Anime Awards effectively had four different art and animation categories. Best Animation for OVAs", Best Animation for Movies, Best Animation (TV Series), and Best Artwork/Art Style. In 2012 there was only one category, Best Artwork/Animation. The 2012 category only included Samurai Cahmploo, the 2010 Best "Artwork/Art Style" winner, as a past winner. Participants were allowed to nominate past winners from the three animation categories again in 2012, resulting in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood winning again. This year all four of the winners from 2010 will be treated as past winners. None are eligible for nomination in this category.

How did Bebop make it in animation, its style is so retro and doesnt stand the test of time.

Cowboy Bebop's animation stands the test of time. The staff was so good they went on to found their own animation studios, and make classics of their own. I still voted for Fate/Zero, but it was a hard choice. I'll vote for whatever wins the tiebreaker over Shingeki in the final round.
