how about when mama witch got toasted. It was cool because it made midget witch cry. Stupid Schierke.

The death of Adonis, Julius' son.

It's a punch in the stomach to see it happening, Guts didn't need it, Guts didn't want it... Yet, he made a simple mistake and had to kill a boy, as innocent as he was when faced death for the first time, mercilessly. It both shows how much he's failable as a human, and how much he had suffered already till that day: enough to look the boy in the eye and not break apart. It's my favorite mostly because of the context, a heartbreaking scene where the boy is dieing after looking at his guiltless killer in the eye and knowing his dear father had been killed already. A very brave scene from Miura, that exposes his main character to an unpopular feat, in exchange for reality and feelings.

My favorite kill scene is when Guts first goes into Berserker mode and these apostles asks Grunbeld if he needs assistance. Guts runs over and slices them up "Hey! No fair!"

Does anyone remember how he kills the fairy apostle queen? I don't have my books till next week so i cannot check. But I think that was epic too.
