I would also go with Whitebeard.
I would have liked to choose Dragon, but we saw not that much about him, so maybe in the next awards I will be able to choose him, but for now it's the man who was feared and respected by everyone not only because of his power, but mostly because of his character - Whitebeard.

Oda is such a great writer that there really is no wrong answer here but i choose Luffy. He's got a knack for always doing exactly what you want him to and i love that about him. Definitely honorable mention to whitebeard. The man is inspiring!!

I choose Monkey D. Garp. I like his inner struggles between the loving grandfather/the good friend and the man of duty. He is probably the lest superficial charakter in One Piece.

Yeah, he also kicks ass and he's got a full beard and not a gay mustache like GR or WB.

In the manga awards, I annoyed the moderators with the fact that we should stop with the "Lead/Support" categories because characters were nominated in both categories. Now, that I see no Lead/Support, I need to find an other way to annoy moderators
